Some people are saying that this time, PETA’s lost all credibility. They’ve crossed the line. I’d ask when PETA ever had any credibility?
It is not possible to take them seriously. They have to pretend that they’re outraged by animal abuse so that they can raise lots of money from rich and flaky Hollywood liberals.
Their latest attack is on the White House for using real eggs in their Easter egg hunt:

Good thing I’m not president, It would be an Easter bunny hunt.
When the inevitable whining started I would issue the statement that any bunny I kill that comes back after 3 days is free to go on about its business.
But not a peep from PETA about cattle on Bundy’s ranch being shot in the head and thrown in mass graves..yep that’s no big deal, but an Easter Egg Hunt, so much outrage

The majority of eggs on the market are unfertilized. It will never become a chicken. It is a good protein food. You can feed chicks and chickens boiled and mashed unfertilized eggs if they need a protein boost in the winter when scratching for bugs is not possible.
I know this because I have 8 chicks in a brooder in my craft room, feathering out before they can go into their coop... Which is still a pile of wood waiting for us to get it built. laughing...
The point is- you do not need a rooster to get eggs, and the eggs from the grocery store, hard-boiled and dyed for Easter, never would of became an animal. It is impossible.
