Is the American Dream becoming her nightmare?

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness property were once major components of a widely held American dream. We were to be in control of our own lives, with liberty to pursue by lawful means whatever we desired -- not to have it provided by a benign, all-knowing and increasingly powerful Government and not to be told how, where or when we were to be allowed to pursue it.

With increasing power, Government and media can mold our individual dreams to the extent that those counter to the prevailing culture become adulterated. Whose dreams do they then become?
Is it still our land?

To liberals, the American Dream is not about what you can do for yourself, but what government can do for you. And they’re completely oblivious to the fact that the more government is able to give you, the less you actually get. It has always been this way, but they’re not exactly students of history.

I would date the end of the dream to September 11th, 2001. That is the date everything changed.
The current Regime is just taking advantage of past events and molding current domestic events to advance their ideology. That is damage enough to the dream in itself.
Those paying the least for the most tend to care the least the most often.

Government is NOT benign. It is a malignant force that seeks control of every aspect of your life. It fears only a well informed, well armed populace.
I don’t know. All I know is we missed that train — between high home prices, inflation, out of control college tuition ....we’re toast. There’s just no way to afford any of it ...or to save for the future anymore.
We’re in the process of selling, and probably having to downsize to have any hope at all. Never dreamed it would turn out this way.

The American dream: working hard and achieving great things(available to every US citizen), has been replaced by the Powerball lottery ticket (chances are 1 in approx 171 million).
Our culture has been lost to the indifference to discrimination.
Our culture believes it is wrong to discriminate.
EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING.
Art: The “piss Christ” etc..
Music: Violent rap..etc..
Language: Bad English, Ebonics, foul language, etc...
Politics: You’re a racist if you disagree, etc etc ...
There is soo much more and it runs the depth and breadth of every interaction you will have.
The only position that is “unacceptable” is the one that finds “their” positions unacceptable.
Their position is one that “Embraces Uncertainty” and it is their foundation. If you proclaim certainty on virtually any issue, you are not only judgmental, you are a closed minded, racist, homophobic, misogynist, xenophobic, “Christian”, uncultured mouth breathing troglodyte.
Immune to their own hypocrisy and the logical failures of their foundations (that’s not important right now), they push and demand the “right” to be stupid.
They are “certain” about their foundations of “uncertainty”. Never mind the contradiction.

These concepts of relativism have planted their roots in our educational system and have latched onto the discoveries in “Modern Physics”.
The only thing they fear is “certainty”.

note: I have watched this a dozen or more times and as recently as three days ago. But today, when I try to watch and listen, the audio is gone. It seems that all the audio of his street apologetics at the “reason rally” are gone.
This is strange.
Overcome by the current nightmare.
Luckily, bureaucracy in the U.S.A. has never been as efficient as in Europe or other parts of the world (after all, Europe and Asia have had thousands of years to perfect madarinism). No matter how much the administrative state squeezes out of us, it can never back the same amount of govering power. Bureaucrats are simply too lazy, too stupid, or too busy chasing the latest politically correct trends.
Explain American Exceptionalism in tangible ways.
Proudly and passionately speak the simple truth about Liberty and Individuality.
The Left only has Fear and Negativity.
