There are few prophetic events that stir the imagination more than the mark of the beast. For millennia, Bible scholars have attempted to decipher this cryptic code, but not until the end of the age did we have the geo-political world line up so precisely as to offer a plausible explanation that links global religious fanaticism with the ability (or inability) to buy and sell without a mark in the right hand or forehead.
Tonight, on Shabbat Night Live, Michael Rood will take you into the first half of the mark of the beast expose in preparation for understanding its relationship in the upcoming demise of the new world order.

I see you’re still peddling Roods ‘stuff’on FR.
Rood has had an ‘unending’ record of setting dates which prove false over and over again 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and onward to be utterly meaningless.................Not one thing that he has dogmatically and bombastically declared, to audiences who hang on his every word, has come to pass.
Given this track record, why should anyone give credence to the idea that the man has credentials as an “expert” in the area of Biblical prophecy or of Scripture meaning either old or new...... why should anyone continue to look to him for his opinion on events of the future......he’s proven himself to be a liar and a false teacher time and again.
Rood rejects large parts of the New Testament because he can’t justify what he’s teaching and accept the whole Bible.
As with all false teachers and occult leaders.....they abuse scripture and pick what supports their agenda...and discard all that does not support them.
Those who are truly rooted in Christ’s love have fulfilled the Law and therefore only observe the New Testament law of love ........(Matt. 22:36-40; John 13:34).
All other commands in the New Testament come from our obligation to follow Christ by walking in His Spirit and leading a life which is in accordance ‘with Christs nature of divine love instilled in us by His Holy Spirit’.......
We are ‘in a relationship with the Jesus Christ’ who has fulfilled the Law.... NOT in a relationship with the Law....which Rood teaches.
They certainly appear to have met the "stumbling stone"....and then some.
The human default position is works. Works and legalism go hand in hand. All religions except Christianity are based on works. That is what makes Christianity so unique, it is based on the finished work of Christ alone! Not on the works of man.
Galations 3: 1-3 .......reminds us of that fact.
” You foolish Galations, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you; did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfectd by the flesh?.....
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us for it is written, Cursed is every one who hangs on a tree.
It can never be exact because English does not have letters for all the Hebrew sounds.
Try again.
You are imagining up a false argument.
Much of early English was from the language of the early Danite occupants of the British Isles. The rest is from Celtics (Galatians).
>> “The very common mistake among Roods supporters is to exalt and imitate Israel, in stead of exalting and following Jesus Christ.” <<
.
What a ludicrous statement!
Yeshua and all of his apostles were very much Jews, and all that Yeshua presented to us is from the ancient Hebrew scriptures. Worship as defined by Yeshua is the very same that he delivered at Mt. Sinai to Moses. He said that it was to continue until all things are finished, so we have at least another thousand years of it to go.
>> “Rood has had an unending record of setting dates which prove false over and over again” <<
.
That is a flat out lie and you are showing yourself to be a willful liar.
Every time that Rood has offered any date for anything, he has qualified it as a dependent hypothesis and given the appropriate variables. In short he has never set any date.
Jesus Himself used the Old Testament to prove that He was indeed the Christ, who had come to put an end to the curse which the Law had placed over men.
In the synagogue (publicly), Jesus refuted the beliefs held by the Jews, the followers of the Law.... The beliefs which Jesus powerfully refuted were those which are held and defended today By Rood and those who follow his teachings.
Acts 18:28...... shows clearly that Jesus Himself used the Old Testament to prove that He was indeed the Christ, who had come to put ‘an end to the curse which the Law had placed over men’.
Roods teachings are heretical and should in no way be associated with the Christian faith IMO....and it’s impossible reasoning with those who are ‘entrenched in his stronghold’ and false teachings of...... The scriptures they use are so deeply altered to reflect their own belief system that the true, simple and authoritative reference (the bible) can never be a common basis for discussion. This can often be so with false religions using Christainity to obtain their following.
Whatever scripture refutes or nullifies their teaching is simply ignored or, more likely, responded to with their favorite phrase that was mistranslated....just as we have seen on this thread.
So as I see it Rood followers have evidenced what his teachings accomplish in thier life....as they have their faith replaced with self righteousness, elitism and legalism....and this can be seen and heard on other sites which debate Roods teachings as well.
Interesting are some testimonies of people requesting prayer for those under Roods “spell”.......they have watched the people they love become lost to them....no longer the individual they have known and admired. And is the standard for those who have left the faith and protection of the Christian faith into “something else” altogether.
Treading water again?
On what basis does God choose whom to write His Law in the hearts of a man and how and when does He do it?
BS.
He set dates and he was WRONG.
Hence, he's a false prophet.
Romans 8:1-11 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
No he has not set any date for anything but a treaty issue, and he qualified that with the statement “if my calculation is correct, and it turned out that he was off by one year exactly.
Are you now channeling CB’s stupidity?
. The people living in the eastern Mediterranean at that time certainly knew what they were, and if you wish to know you can spend some time searching Talmudic sites.
The issues of greatest importance were illustrated in the gospels through Yeshuas miracles, each of which was designed to highlight one of the Pharisees tyrannical rules. His first miracle was to demolish The washing of the hands.
Were you any kind of scholar of Yeshua, you would already know these things, but you are obviously here to shore up Satans Churchianity, lest any be enlightened regarding Yeshuas Way.
No one could respond to the question, eh??? And who didn't know that...Can't respond so you insult...Typical...
But no you are wrong...Jesus did not eliminate the washing of hands...The dialog actually had nothing to do with dirty dishes...The dishes were used as an example...
Mat 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
Mat 23:26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
And by the way, the bible was not written to just 1st Century Mediterraneans...You might think you have to be a historian to understand the scriptures and that could be why you keep fumbling around with them...
>> “But no you are wrong...Jesus did not eliminate the washing of hands.” <<
.
First, I didn’t say he eliminated anything, he called them out.
Second, I was speaking of his first miracle, where he defiled their hand washing pots with wine.
I did far more than answer your question, I explained how you too can gain understanding, and thereby stop making a fool of yourself.
Desperation causing one to get rather personal with no ping to person mentioned?
I accidentally returned the favor that you constantly provide.
Now if you had just posted this from the beginning, some of us would have had an idea where this Rood is coming from...
Since Rood delves into areas that God did not deem important enough to mention in the scriptures, I'd say he's wasting a lot of time...
But most importantly, there's no way you or Rood would ever convince me that God has left his church in the dark for 2000 years waiting for Rood to be born so his church would finally know the truth in 2014...
I take the position that all things did not have to be revealed when the bible was written but may be revealed as the right time approaches for those events...But they will be revealed in the scriptures as we see those events unfolding before us...Not in some historical teaching or teaching outside of the scriptures that have been reserved for a prophet or messiah to reveal to us...
Of course you did.
