The very common mistake among Roods supporters is to exalt and imitate Israel, in stead of exalting and following Jesus Christ...... They endeavour to become more like Israel, also in respect of Law observance via Old Testament feasts like the Sabbath, etc. Allwhich put them back under the Law.

They certainly appear to have met the "stumbling stone"....and then some.

The human default position is works. Works and legalism go hand in hand. All religions except Christianity are based on works. That is what makes Christianity so unique, it is based on the finished work of Christ alone! Not on the works of man.

Galations 3: 1-3 .......reminds us of that fact.

” You foolish Galations, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? This is the only thing I want to find out from you; did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfectd by the flesh?.....

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us – for it is written, Cursed is every one who hangs on a tree.

.
What a ludicrous statement!

Yeshua and all of his apostles were very much Jews, and all that Yeshua presented to us is from the ancient Hebrew scriptures. Worship as defined by Yeshua is the very same that he delivered at Mt. Sinai to Moses. He said that it was to continue until all things are finished, so we have at least another thousand years of it to go.
