Ripping off another site on your blog is uncool. Posting it on FR as an excerpt to drive hits to your blog is even more uncool. Having it be a copyright-restricted source is really, really, really uncool. Throw in the fact that you are a retread blog pimp and the en banc Kitteh appeals court has reached a unanimous verdict.

Ian McKellen is a homo, but that doesn’t mean that Gandalf or any other fictional character is anything like the actor who is playing the part.
I read Tolkien’s stories, and not once did he mention Gandalf’s being a homosexual.
If you avoid performances by homosexual people, you’re not going to have much to watch these days, unfortunately. Our lovely Hollywood swamp can’t seem to get their brains out of their pants.

Gandalf the Gray = J.R.R. Tolkien character, Tolkien being a Christian and friend of C.S. Lewis.
Ian McKellen =/= a Tolkien character but an actor.
Conflating an actor with a character is a non start.
Though Rolozo Tolkien did do a rather credible illustration of “The Gray Wanderer”, it is copyrighted and not technically available for use in threads like the one used.
If you’d like to lend a hand in finding usable non-Ian McKellen images that’d be great!
