Holy hell, that is a LOT of starships.
This comparison chart, compiled by DeviantARTist Dirk Loechel, presents what he says is an accurate size-comparison between famous sci-fi starships. As far as I can tell it's got more or less every single sci-fi starship ever, from Star Wars to Warhammer to EVE Online to Halo and way, way beyond. In an update this month, Loechel added a ton more ships to what already must have been a huge collection.

Cool pic.
I wonder if there’s any pics like these that only shows ships that have actually been seen on film and TV.
I’ve never even heard of a, “17,500 meter Eclipse-Class Super Star Destroyer,” and I’m a hugh Star Wars fan.

Wasn’t the Eagle series from “Space: 1999”?

Am I overlooking Discovery One from 2001: A Space Odyssey or is it not there? Dunno, but good point: definitely a classic ship.

But no Space Above and Beyond. Don't remember that series... was that before or after Red Dwarf started airing?

And what about the ship in Flesh Gordon?!!? *laugh* That one was hilarious. Loved the fact that it was 'curved' -about the only one I ever saw formed like that. *grin*

I think the argument is that it is a Space Station and not a space ship (Note that DS9, Federation Star Bases, and the Babylon 5 space station are not there).
