HUMOR: Meltdown in Washington: President Obama Reported Sedated Following Emotional Breakdown

Late this afternoon White House insiders leaked information stating the president has suffered a mental breakdown and is presently resting and under a doctors care. This afternoon the National Report received three calls on our nationwide hot tip line (206) 222-1975. Two of the three callers are insiders known to the National Report to be reliable confidential informants.

The caller unknown to this publication is a low level employee who could only state that there was some kind of a medical emergency involving President Obama. The other two callers known to us are both support personnel within the Obama administration. Both confirmed this week has been a political disaster for the president and this has taken a tremendous toll on him.

Looks like some bloggers took something not fully true and ran with it.

An article in The Telegraph (UK) is titled A presidency on the verge of a nervous breakdown: 5 key reasons why Barack Obama’s future looks increasingly bleak .

The article did not say Obama had a breakdown, only that his presidency could be on the verge of one.

The supposed source article [Nationalreport.net] states that a doctor was summoned to the Oval Office. This is Sunday. Why would Obama be in the Oval Office on a Sunday? He hardly makes it to the office on regular work days. That, alone, causes me to be suspicious of the report.

It sources the UK Telegraph article (link above) and thenixonallianceunderground.com. The second source [Nixonallianceunderground] is a blog dated May 17, but no year is given.
