It was really a gorgeous day here - what a Blessing!
Video at link above.
I don’t know when Christ was actually born, but Scriptural clues definitely makes it in the fall.
Don’t know, don’t care. I’m an atheist. I don’t believe in Zeus.
The King of Kings who hath brought us salvation. Happy birthday Jesus.
Actually, depending on when Zacharius, John the Baptist’s father served in the Temple, gives a possible date of...NOW OR, around Dec. 25th.
I tend to suspect that the Christians in the Roman empire were not so ill-informed, stupid, and dull as to get the date wrong after 200 years or so (when they first started celebrating Jesus’ birthday), and Christmas has NEVER been celebrated in the Fall.
So sorry Messianic Jews, Sukkot is NOT Jesus’ birthday—and 99.99% of Christ followers in history agree. You may want to get on the bandwagon and celebrate the date Jesus’ followers have faithfully followed for at least 1700 years.

I am familiar with this, makes sense.
Romans 14:6-12
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Sukkot began on Wednesday night....you have to tweak your astronomical fantabulous machine a bit.
Shepherds in the fields?
IMHO Jesus’ birth lines up with Channukah — The Festival of Lights. The Festivals do seem to line up with major events in history/Jesus’ life, but I don’t believe Sukkot is His birth event, I think it is an end of time event....which culminates with the Feast of Trumpets.
We will be celebrating the Feast Of Booths when He reigns for a thousand years. I always thought He could have been born on Oct 31 since Satan has made it a celebration of death and fear.
Since when do shepherds take their flock out in the winter? No green grass to eat then. Rather cold too. So yes Fall is the season for the birth of the Messiah.
