One has an inherent right to peaceably travel from place-to-place in this country via any contemporary conveyance without being harassed by armed government employees.

Don’t let your PA driver’s license expire before getting one from Ohio. I did and had to retake the driver’s exam including the driving test. The examiner for the driving part had to be younger than my kids. BTW, I aced parallel parking.
I had a very difficult time going from a MA to GA driver’s license. When I recounted my experience on FR, a whole slew of anti-birthers called me a liar. I.e.: they called my honest, unadorned account a lie simply because they were, at that time, claiming a Certificate of Live Birth was as good as/the equivalent of a LF BC. My real life experience upset their narrative, so I must be a liar.

Good grief, I’ve lived in 9 states over the past 55 years and never went thru any of that balderdash. Last move back to PA was 24yrs ago, and one 2-hr trip to DMV was all it took. Guess I’ll just stay and die here.

While this may be a humorous exaggeration, believe me switching a DL from one state to another is no longer a quick and easy thing to do. I went through hoops in 2003 changing my DE DL to VA because my DL had a partially different name than my social security card. My husband went through similar hoops because he is a Jr.
Parts are embellished, but I can assure you, it’s not fake.
The gal at BMV told me it was going to get worse on August 8 due to new changes. By the time I get my phone calls returned, I’ll be right in time! Can’t wait!
