Obama has declared war on coal. Democrats are ready to go...wonder why?
Just a theory...
I thought it was because the old school Santa Claus used to put coal in the stockings of those illegal aliens who were bad and broke into America through the back door instead of doing it the way honest, normal people do it. Through the front door.
They hate a lot of black things. Coal, Oil, Guns, Clarence Thomas.....
They hate the Reagan Democrats who work in them.
70% of rail traffic is bulk material most of it is coal used in generating electricity.
Don’t forget all the crude oil that Obama’s buddy Buffet is hauling on his choo-choos because Baraq won’t approve the pipeline.

Democrats do not hate coal. The area of the country where coal comes from isn’t the wealthiest. So it is easy to break it’s population and force its citizens into indentured servitude.
So what is the unintended consequence? People in the northeast will freeze. Solar won’t work and the Kennedy’s and Kerry already laid waste to any idea of windmills in the ocean.
Not to mention, seniors on Obamacare won’t get treated.
There is a treasure trove of ways to attack Obama and the Rats on this.
Coal is the recycling of tax payer dollars into the Capitalists. Green industry is the recycling of tax payer dollars into the Democrat party hacks.
Millions more people will lose their jobs, and turn to the government to supply them subsistence crumbs. It’s THAT simple. Bob
we have a lot of it, it’s cheap, most energy plants are set to run on it, and now most plants scrub out all the objectionables.

Why do they hate coal? It’s simple, really.
1)It’s something we have a lot of, that can be used for generating power, which is good for our nation.
2)Since it’s something we have a lot of and it’s good for our nation so we don’t have to suck up and pay scads of money to nations that don’t like us, they hate it.
Ergo, if it’s good for America, they hate it. QED.
Coal is broken. The climate is broken! Electrical energy is broken. US energy policy is broken. Peak oil is broken.
We need the government to step in and fix it. See the tag line.
Exactly, they hate it because it is portable, autonomous, can be traded, and cannot be shut off with a switch at the NSA (unlike electricity and natural gas). It's also why they hate gasoline and the burning of wood. Their hatred has NOTHING to do with clean air. It is all about eliminating those things that allow us to heat our homes and cook our food without their permission.

DIMocRATs hate you. That’s why they hate coal. They couldn’t convince your parents to abort you...so you must suffer. But don’t worry they will prematurely murder you by denying you health care when your older.
West Virginia and Kentucky are big Democrat states...however, lately GOP has had some success there...I wonder if those states go total GOP...I would say conservative - but that’s hoping too much!
A few observations I would add to your excellent observation.
We must always keep in mind that when it comes to enviro-nuts, what they really care about isn’t what they are fighting for. The same can be said of virtually all Liberals/progressives/Democrats. In addition to their complete lack of logic and ability to read and comprehend.
Electric cars are powered by coal. But they want electric cars.
Fracking for Nat-Gas has been going on for over 50 years with tens of thousands of wells drilled in America with no environmental impact to speak of. But, when new technology allowed for horizontal drilling to extract huge amounts of gas with a very small footprint, they went to work to scare people with lies about it’s safety. BTW, the enviro-nuts used to love Nat-Gas as a “clean energy” solution.
Hydro-Electric dams. Safe renewable very clean and it works. The biggest most vocal group against building dams around the world are the enviro-nuts.
Wind, they love wind power but apparently hate birds. They also fail to consider where all the copper will come from to make those massive turbines. Nevermind that wind power is wholly unreliable.
Solar, that’s the ticket. While advances have been made in solar the reliability is still very much in doubt, not to mention the “carbon footprint” to manufacture.
Two last points.
EVERYTHING we have comes out of the ground. Laptops, cellphones, iron, copper, pharmaceuticals you name it, it comes out of the ground. Even the food we eat, and that needs C02.
What they want is for the population to contract in a very very big way. They don’t want the next Einstein or Madam Curie to be born. They treasure “nature” as if people are not part of nature.
So, their are two groups of people, the ones you described that actually understand this and are just in this fight for the money and control, and the useful idiots they string along to influence public opinion with their media and “grassroots” protests.
