I caught a portion of an interview with Michele Bachmann Wednesday afternoon. She said something along the same lines as Senator Coburn. She knows something because of her position on another Committee. I believe she said she sits on the House Intelligence Committee. Regardless, she suggested she knows something significant that would eventually be made known.

I am going to call my Congressman to find out where he stands on a joint committee.

Then shoes need to start dropping. This is a major issue. Perhaps those that know what happened but are legally required to keep quiet until the proper time just need face the punishment and talk. Our Founders risked much more than jail time. Thoreau insisted that risking jail time for standing up for one’s beliefs should be an everyday activity. We are beyond proper protocol with this issue. People need to start talking now before somebody permanently silences them.

How many times have these politicians and personalities tried to make news about something that will soon break, only to have their grand ‘break’ fizzle?

If it is important enough to talk about now, it is important enough to reveal now.

We have enough soap opera on TV. We don’t need it coming from politicians who are trying to get face time on TV.

I’m sorry but this really pisses me off. Leave it to the Rinos to tease and hold something back. They probably want it to drip drip drip and trickle out so it gets closer to the midterms, hence doing the maximum damage to the democrats. So sick of all these games.

May be an attempt to spark enough interest to make this a Sunday talk show topic...

I couldn’t believe my ears this morning when ABC Radio news broadcast a news story on some Benghazi emails they uncovered.

All it would take is for someone to leak a scoop to ABC which would then spark up CBS to quit suppressing a story they should own via Sharyl Atkisson’s reporting. Once the networks start to compete with one another, the story has a small chance of gathering momentum. Until then, we’ll get the same old posturing and calculated ignoring of the story.

Someone wake me from this dream...

NATIONAL REVIEW ONLINE www.nationalreview.com

The Benghazi Patsy

The man who made the video that didn’t cause the attack has been made a scapegoat.

By Rich Lowry

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula deserves a place in American history. He is the first person in this country jailed for violating Islamic anti-blasphemy laws.

You won’t find that anywhere in the charges against him, of course. As a practical matter, though, everyone knows that Nakoula wouldn’t be in jail if he hadn’t produced a video crudely lampooning the prophet Mohammed.

After the attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others, the Obama administration claimed the terrorist assault had been the outgrowth of a demonstration against the video. In a speech at the United Nations, the president declared — no doubt with Nakoula in mind — “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

After Benghazi, the administration was evidently filled with a fierce resolve — to bring Nakoula to justice. Charles Woods, the father of a Navy SEAL killed in Benghazi, said Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told him when his son’s body returned to Andrews Air Force Base: “We will make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

A Spec-Op type of guy called Levin last night and noted the 2 biggest allies the truth has is Colburn and Inhofe, they know this stuff cold and have the contacts and are willing to stand up against the evil if you will....

Let us hope this is true, and when does Jim Inhofe chime in as well....

They even cut a PSA in Pakistan apologizing for it, one of the more craven acts ever undertaken by a US administration, even if the movie had caused the attack. Which it didn’t.

At the time the cost of this PSA was given as several hundred thousand dollars, I think. It may be comparatively trivial but if actual charges ever arise from this affair - criminal or for impeachment purposes - I hope it is remembered that taxpayer money was spent as part of the conspiracy to deceive the American public. That much is quantifiable.

Two stand down orders were mentioned in the hearing. When asked, Hicks (I think it was he) said “ask Col. Gibson”. (hope I got his rank right).

OK, we know for sure that Obama and Hillary knew this had nothing to do with that movie. Why did they make that commercial?
