Remember all those who denied that firearms confiscation as a result of New Yorks new gun laws was too insane to even consider?
That it was strictly in the realm of paranoid conspiracy theorists and the it cant happen here crowd?
Those were and remain some of the standard replies to anyone who even thought about the possibility, let alone gave voice to it, despite the fact that Gov Cuomo and numerous other officials made public comments about such a plan, as I discussed in my article Feinstein & Cuomo Admit Planning Australian Style Government Gun Buy Back .
Elected Officials, the media, various Gun Control Groups and their zealous forced disarmament supporters, even some firearms owners themselves all insisted it was to crazy to even consider.
Theres just one huge problem it is happening now in New York State!
It seems those that tried desperately to warn of such an insidious plot had hit the bullseye with their warnings after all. News came from multiple NY State based firearms enthusiast websites late Friday that confiscations of Pistol Owner ID Cards, as well as firearms and accessories has commenced in NY under the provisions of the horribly flawed, draconian and blatantly unconstitutional NY SAFE Act.
Those folks having their weapons and FID cards confiscated have been discovered to have been prescribed multiple different types of psychotropic drugs, such as those for Depression or Anxiety. These are known as SSRI ( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) class drugs and have the potential to cause serious and adverse side effects, something I wrote about extensively last week in an article that went viral in days and caused multiple Anti Gun and Progressive News Groups to initiate a concentrated denial of service hacker attack...

Heads up ping!
“GE we bring tyrany to life....”
GE is big into the central big brother medical “duty to die” database.
This is bad. In the ‘70s, they used to give out Valium like candy until they discovered the army of zombies they created so the newer benzos are more targeted but I bet their legal use will result in the loss of firearms privileges in NYC.
Suggest to a reporter that the 1st amendment needs updating for modern times and they act like it’s a holy sacrament. The 2nd amendment and the constitution,on the other hand, are ripe for ‘updating’
No cognitive dissonance there...
Ammoland is not the most reliable of news sources.
How many sources would you like?
New Yorkers are slaves.
This is now being proven.
Neither is the NYT... Article posted has links to other articles including one to an interview with a lawyer who is currently defending a client opposing the illegal seizure of his firearms under the new law.
Email address for said lawyer is included. Feel free to contact him for us and get the straight scoop.
Ammoland is acurate on this story,it happened 50 miles north of where i live in Hamburg NY. If i’m correct he’s a lawyer who’s part of the legal battle against the NY state gun law.
GE = go eternal? lol
::Government Gun Buy Back ::
Once the government sets “regulation” (in the form of permits, taxes, fees, etc.) of private property, they assume ownership of said property. The citizen then possess that property at the whim of the regulator.
Since we, The People, have sheepishly acquiesced our 4th Amendment rights regarding these regulatory “takings”, we have lost all claim to “property under rule and regulation”.
The founders are not pleased.
Pretty standard socialism, actually.
It struck me a few weeks ago how the new vernacular is "health care provider" rather than doctor. Could they be prepping the people with this new term because of the inevitable doctor shortages that we'll be facing soon?
Title makes it sound like it’s all citizens, not just the ones that many think should.
Time to start seeing a cash only doctor, whom is NOT beholden to the feds.
There are many more of these doctors popping up. Time to find one.
It really could be almost all citizens depending on the discression of the grabbers. How many people have at any time taken an anti-depressant or live with anyone who has?
Family or not, job in NY or not, I would definitely move. NY thinks they are above the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and everything fought for over the last 300 years. May the leaders rot.
As long as due process is observed:
Here’s the due process - Doc writes a script, doc tells the cops, cops take your guns.
Yep. Going hot...
It won't go hot until someone on our side shoots back. Which ain't gonna happen, because unlike them, we follow the law.
And we're about to stop doing that.
” - - - we follow the law. - - - “
Which Law? The Second Amendment, or the up-coming Senate RINO Cave-In POS?
> I have come to the conclusion that HIPPA was more about protecting physicians, hospitals and medical device companies that it was about protecting the patient.
HIPPA is one of the worst liberal schemes to ever be inflicted upon us.
Seven years ago my sister-in-law, a US citizen, went to Vietnam to visit relatives. Some months after returning, she injured herself and the site of the injury got worse and worse. Although she speaks and understand everyday conversational English, she did not understand what the doctor told he about her problem and asked me to find out for her (complete with signed permission paper.) It didn’t make any difference, I was not her husband or an immediate blood relative, so I was refused access to the information about her condition, even when she accompanied me to the doctor’s office.
It took me 4 months and a judge, before I found out that she had contracted TB from some coworker at work. She didn’t know what she had and HIPPA was in the way of finding out.
After determining her affliction she underwent the proper treatment (with a different doctor) and was declared TB free about 2 years later.
HIPPA is useless. Darn near every medical encounter starts with “waive your HIPPA rights or you get no service.”
