Ive been watching Pawn Stars for a while now and I love the show. Ive sat for hours in front of the TV watching rerun after rerun until I think Ive just about seen them all. Watching Rick Harrison and hearing all the stuff he knows is great too, I mean the guy is no slouch.
Tonight Rick Harrison was on Mark Levins radio show said he had a great idea to film out in Southern California at the Glamis Sand Dunes. Hed be employing around 100 or so people to film the show and had all kinds of ideas as to what he could do. But its on federal government land run by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) so he had to apply for a permit to film there. He said he just found out yesterday that he was denied, and the reason they gave him was budget cuts. He says that doesnt even make sense and believes if it were some liberal actor trying to do a show they would be able to get a permit without a problem.

It was always difficult to get the feds to do their jobs before. Now, with Barry’s sequester kicking in, it’s impossible.

Ive been watching Pawn Stars for a while now and I love the show. Now I feel like I'm supporting a good guy, too.
It's really worth listening to the interview.
And get the Mark Levin app for your phone! I listen to the podcasts the following day.

so they don't have the money to MAKE money... more proof there's nothing that the government can't make worse

Begging to furnish debt/revenues to bureaucrats? They rely much on debt/revenues from tourism. Don’t go on vacation. “Go galt” instead.

We watch Pawn Stars and enjoy seeing the interesting items that people bring in and hearing about them. I could do with less bickering and family interaction.

I prefer hardcore pawn. Pawn stars is all about the items people bring in where hardcore pawn is all about the idiots that bring in the items.

We watch Hardcore Pawn too but I absolutely hate the family fights. Fighting with the customers is the fun part because the cr*p they bring is ......cr*p.

Watching Pawn Stars, and then watching Hardcore Pawn, shows the radical difference in culture (if you want to call it culture) between blacks and whites.
By the way I am sure Rick is very knowledgeable, but he also gets a lot of his knowledge from the computer he checks things out on, that they don’t show on the show.
The show is staged, it isn’t shot candidly.

I prefer hardcore pawn. Pawn stars is all about the items people bring in where hardcore pawn is all about the idiots that bring in the items.Hardcore Pawn is nothing more than the "Jerry Springer Show" set in a pawn shop. Just once I'd like to see Seth throw somebody out - not the two big security guys he always hides behind - but Seth.

Read the comment section at the link and saw this appropriate comment...
"Sounds like a good reason to ban federal ownership of land except that which is specifically provided for by the constitution. E.g. - Article One, Section 8, Clause 17, offers the only provision in the Federal Constitution for federal ownership of land. It provides for the creation of Washington, D.C. as the seat of the federal government and allows the federal government to purchase lands in a state with ...the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings.

It was always difficult to get the feds to do their jobs before. Now, with Barrys sequester kicking in, its impossible.Yup. You see, before they would work six hours a day a couple days of week and get full pay.
Now they are working six hours a day a couple days of week and have to take furlough time. Of course they don't like it.

The FedMob has been incrementally limiting access to all Federally controlled lands in a variety of ways for at least the last 25 years. They don’t want us peons on their land.
