To paraphrase Ms. Parker, What fresh tyranny is this?
With this pen, I thee shred.
What part of The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed does the professor of Constitutional Law not grasp? Ah! Thats not really the operative question, is it?(snip)
Joeys out there floating some trial balloons: how far can we go before the people raise those arms theyve been given the right to bear?

Dont worry though, the Oscar nominations just came out. That means that politics-weary country can turn its attention back to Hollywood as the circuses are about to begin(snip)That should at least get us all through Kim Kardashians first trimester.
Speaking of the Oscars reminds me though; remember when Hillary refused to say she was retiring when asked about her plans yesterday? Well, I think Ive got a scoop for you: after conquering Washington shes going to transfer her considerable acting talents to Hollywood to make a little more dough:
Amour received 5 Oscar nominations
In fact, I suspect shes already been moonlighting:
Maybe thats why

"There is scarce a king in a hundred who would not, if he could, follow the example of Pharaoh - get first all the people's money, then their lands, and then make them and their children servants forever. It will be said that we do not propose to establish kings. I know it. But there is a natural inclination in mankind to kingly government. It sometimes
relieves them from aristocratic domination. They had rather have one tyrant than 500. It gives more the appearance of equality among citizens, and that they like.
I am apprehensive - therefore - perhaps too apprehensive - that the government of these States may in future times end in a monarchy [not called a monarchy but an executive with monarchial powers]. But this catastrophe, I think, may long be delayed, if in our proposed system we do not sow the seeds of contention, faction and tumult, by making our posts of honor places of profit. If we do, I fear that, though we employ at first a number and not a single person, the number will in time be set aside, it will only nourish the fetus of a king (as the honorable gentleman from Virginia very aptly expressed it), and a king will the sooner be set over us."

Yes he does.
I contend Obama/his cronies know more about the Constitution than most people on Free Republic, definitely the Republican Party leaders, lol.
In order to maneuver your way around your opponent, one must know their adversary. Obama rightly points out that the Constitution is one of negative rights (From the central government perspective) and people like Obama despise those negative rights. Hence they search high and low for every shred of case law, rulings, and quotes to disingenuously strip those negative rights away.

Newt Gingrich was asked by Greta what Congress could do if Obama was to bypass the constitution...
Newt wimped and said stop the funding for his unconstitutional acts or file lawsuits to stop his unconstitutional acts...
...ok, “unconstitutional acts” what is that exactly? Since the US Constitutional is the HIGHEST LAW OF THE LAND it may be HIGH CRIMES to VIOLATE IT?!?!?
HIGH CRIMES as in what you can IMPEACH A TREASONOUS MARXIST AMERICA HATING RAT BASTARD FOR!?!?!?
Whazamatta Newt? since Clinton beat the rap it don’t work no more?

"He doesn't grasp any of it." Yes he does. He has studied the constitution and even lectured on it, along with teaching the philosophy of Frank Marshall Davis, Saul Alinsky and Jeremiah Wright - among others. His purpose in life has been to reform America in a socialist model of, "all in need, all wanting, all equal". Of course that ideal excludes the elite who will always live like royals and look down on the rest of us. Those of us who looked into his past early on are not surprised, but many of the herd that supported him is in for some cruel surprises.

Neither Congress nor the Bastard in Chief can abolish the Constitution. It would be treason, and then we Americans would have recourse to yank the motherf*ckers out of their offices and summarily hang them from the lightposts.
I dare them to try it.

"What part of it does he grasp?
What part of it does he respect?" He grasps it all and respects none of it. Learning and understanding it was a necessary part of his plan to attack it.

Actually Boehner would have to file impeachment papers. Not too likely.

If he does not respect it, then he does not grasp it.
Whether or not he studied the rights in order to attack them does not mean he grasps the concept that our rights come from God and cannot be removed by man.
If he in fact believes that his laws are superior to God’s rights, then he in fact believes that he is superior to God which is absolute proof of the staggering depth of his lack of understanding or grasp.
