I know I probably shouldnt have done it especially because yesterday was a snowy day with the temperature here in Colorado dipping well below freezing but on a whim I took all my guns and ammunition out in a small skiff on one of the nearby lakes and, sad to say, the boat capsized when I stupidly tried to prove to myself that I could do it Gangnam style, even in an inherently unbalanced situation, while also tending to a fishing pole.
All my firearms and my ammo stockpile is now, as a consequence, sleeping with the fishes.
Just so you know. All you who are reading here. And no, I have no plans to replace them at this point. Because children.
You could be facing a serious lawsuit! Being irresponsible with your firearms will haunt you! Lake trout are very litigious! The Crappy will get off Scott free!
I sold all mine at a gun show to some nice people. Couldn’t bare to have them in the house any longer.
Who died and left you in charge of what is or is not funny?
Time for your cup of lemon juice.
“Im thinking really strong rare earth magnets Placed strategically around my property should keep me safe from those renegade killers!”
That’s good thinking - that should pin them to the magnets. Make sure the magnets are heavy duty metal - not plastic as the guns could destroy those.
I’m glad you are a safety first guy. The govn. should issue a directive that the I.Q. of a gun must be posted on the gun.
LOL. I am not a gardening expert-just a dabbler. However, I know enough - Send that government guy on his way, cause there is nothing to see, and there is no fear of them sprouting and having baby guns which grow up to be 12 gauge etc.
I'd hit it.
That's because she's Not Guilty.
I'm sorry you are grumpy.
BTW, thanks for the 'juvenile' thing. After all the recent 'geriatric' comments from medical staff, it's good to know that one part is still young.

“The govn. should issue a directive that the I.Q. of a gun must be posted on the gun.”
That makes sense!!! I bet we could talk Hank “Guam gonna tip over” and Sheila J Lee into getting this legislation started! Post haste!
Dog ate mine! Then back-fired!

Well ours is missing. A while back I was so upset the husband had guns, I waited until he went to sleep, loaded them up, and went out and threw them on a country road not far from our house.
I felt bad the next day and went back to retrieve them. They were gone.
He was soooo mad at me.
I’m an old lady, scared to death of my gun. God help anyone who breaks in on me! Plus I have a dog whose bark will break the sound barrier, they better have their ear muffs on!
Mine fell into warm water where I saw alligators eat them.
Really sucks.
If it works on bombs, it should work on guns too.
I am sure of that pluss just just a shallow lake and fresh water to boot so they shouldn’t deteriorate too much.
“Sorry for the buzzkill, but there ain’t enough of them
to stop all of us. Ever.”
Sigh...I’ll try to make this easy for you. I hate to be
the one to break this to you, but there is this government
agency known as the BATFE.(Google it)
They tear up homes looking for guns every day.
And they leave the homeowner stuck with the repairs.
Why, they even slaughtered almost a hundred folks in Waco
(that’s in Texas) back in 1993. Look up “Branch Davidians”
if you don’t believe me!
All I said was, if they come after YOUR guns, either fight
or give them up. Don’t even think about BS’ing them.
I’m fully aware of the logistics involved in disarming the
whole nation. As for you...well, blissfully ignorant is
no way to go through life.
Man, I’d sure hate to tangle with those catfish after THIS administration.
You mean the one with about 5000 employees? If they all show up at once, I'm well and truly fornicated. I couldn't even make sammiches for all of them.
But they wouldn't. The regional offices need someone there.
Compare and contrast that number of federal employees picking up 300 million firearms. Do the logistics, hero. How long does that take?
Math is hard. First thing they teach you in culinary school. Logistics is how you win.

To paraphrase General Patton, "Nobody ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other guy die for his."
What a shame that Americans seem to live in two different countries these days.
Wouldn't that be "the one with about 5000 employees before they started trying to confiscate firearms"?
