Petraeus Scandal: An affair that was known to the FBI for months and kept from congressional oversight committees might explain his complicity in a false narrative of the Benghazi terrorist attack and the order to "stand down."
The addition of sex to Benghazigate adds a dimension sure to keep the scandal going and one that does indeed make Watergate seem like a third-rate burglary. The affair admitted to by Gen. David Petraeus, now our former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, might have attached blackmail or the potential for blackmail to a scandal we have already called a case of criminal negligence.
But blackmail by whom?
Petraeus isn't the first general to have an affair while in uniform. But as CIA director, Petraeus' knowledge of the nation's secrets was unparalleled, as was his knowledge of what happened and when regarding the assault on our consulate in Libya.
The timing of his resignation is most curious — just days after the presidential election and days before he was scheduled to testify before Congress, under oath, regarding the Sept. 11 terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell is expected to testify in his place. But lawmakers want to hear from Petraeus, and so do we.
As we've noted, just two days after the attack on our Benghazi consulate, representatives of the FBI and National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) gave Capitol Hill briefings in which they said the evidence supported an al-Qaida or al-Qaida-affiliated attack.

I’ve been saying he was blackmailed since day 1. The best way to deal with it is what he did, go public on your own. If that is what happened there must have been quite a panic when he came out.
Why would Obama let him be Director of the CIA in the first place? Petraeus wasn’t a long time Democrat hack like Panetta. He doesn’t have an intelligence background.
Obama put Petraeus in as head of the CIA because of what Obama has been doing overseas. Obama needed somebody he could control running the CIA. The CIA is the government agency tasked to keep track of what is going on outside the US around the world. They would definitely be looking at the Middle East. Obama has been setting the Middle East on fire to make money for himself and his buddies. Look up the phrase RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT. Look up the INTERNATIONAL CRISIS GROUP (ICG). Look at who is on their board....George Soros. Look up the three part story about The Chicago Connection at the blog chicagopaytoplay. Look at Aaron Klein’s stories at WND.

sounds nuts, but I, too, now believe that John Roberts was blackmailed. I think that he got the Chicago treatment, and nearly EVERY accomplishment of Barack Obama was afforded by digging dirt and then blackmailing the subject.
NOTHING about this administration is normal or routine —NOTHING.
The public didn’t know ANYTHING about him, and now in view of what we do know about his decision making style there is NOTHING bad I would disbelieve about him.

I am just not interested anymore in this sex scandal, it has very little to do with 4 Dead Americans, no matter what Petraeus may have told her or not, OBAMA IS THE ONE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THOSE 4 DEAD MEN......
In reading some of the replies on some threads, it is getting preposterous the things that are being suggested. Some are even suggesting ROVE is involved, why? because there is a picture of him and Paula. so what? D.C.is a very social place.
Yet, if some lazy journalist reads in FR, that will give him one more RUMOR for tomorrows headline. Need to get back to Benghazi, focus on that.

Chicago thugs are probably involved, but this thing seems to be so well thought out and such a careful application of classic spy craft, that I’m thinking Putin and old Soviet remnants are the handlers in all this.
Quite some time ago, there was an excellent post on FR — bizarre and frightening — that some of you might remember. It had to do with a personal experience the poster had while in Russia. A Russian official mentioned to the poster that he predicted that the US would one day have a black President who would convert the country to communism. If I remember correctly, the poster seemed to suggest that this was more than a casual observation by the Russian, but rather a hint that this was a kind of Grand Strategy, planned many years in advance for taking down the US from the inside.
When I think about the birth certificate issue (even an ex-Scotland Yard sleuth can’t find anything definite); the rumors about multiple Social Security Numbers; the Frank Marshall Davis connection; etc., it doesn’t point to Chicago thugs. This is BIG. This is war at a high strategic level.

I believe he was. His two white blonde kids were adopted from South America and there are some discrepancies with the legality.
