His belief that it will all begin with the rejection of EBT Foodstamps cards is, I think, spot-on.
Next comes the urban riots.
Then comes the rioters spilling into the suburbs.
Then comes full-blown chaos when the rioters realize that the cops alone can't contain them.
Then come the beatings, rapes and murders. In the open. In broad daylight. At heavily trafficked intersections.
Then comes the militia, which is what I intend to do when shizz gets real. That has been my intention all along, since the fall of 2008 when I knew that collapse and civil war was an inevitability.
Echoing Bracken, if I am either sandbagged or on a bipod, 400 yards is an EASY kill. Men are a hell of a lot bigger than prairie dogs, which is why learning to snipe on prairie dogs is so wise, in addition to good, wholesome fun.
When I tell you people to be buying LONG GUNS and ammo, I'm not kidding. Assault rifles and tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition is one of the best places to park wealth right now. And you better know how to use it, and you better sit your wife down, tell her to cut the sissy, whiny female bullshit and learn how to handle every weapon system in your arsenal. This isn't a damn game or a TV show. Many, many women are going to find themselves as the ONLY THING standing between a hip-hop rape mob and their children.

As a police officer in a very violent Midwest community, I can tell you for my part that the scenario with the EBT cards being denied and the holders going ballistic is very real.
The recipients of these forced reparations have no compunctions against assaulting the mailman if he is running late and the section eight don’t care about no fedrul gubmint holidays.
Like I said many times before, you don’t want to be anywhere near a city when this goes down. The police at first might be tasked with trying to maintain order, but then they will be repurposed to protecting critical infrastructure. Stores will be pillaged for every scrap of food, and just like fitness clubs and movie theaters, they are precious few grocery stores in the ghetto.
The food will run out, and then it will be a house to house search for the same. It will spread out to the outlying counties and then that is where the real resistance will be met.
Armed citizens need to understand that most rifle combat happens under two hundred yards, and in urban areas, much less than that. Urban areas are also historically where the most casualties take place. It would behoove those who are interested in telling history versus becoming history to make sure they avoid conflicts of any sort in the cities.

This is exactly what happened. The police withdrew to guard City Hall, police stations, etc..
I was trapped in South LA during the Rodney King riots and saw “the thin veneer of civilization” stripped away.
The fire department refused to answer calls unless they had police escorts. So the fires raged.
Intersections became kill zones where cars and trucks were ambushed and drivers beaten and killed. Local TV helicopters recorded much of this chaos live and it was never broadcast again.
Business owners who were armed guarded their property. The mobs just moved on to unprotected places.
EU style chaos won’t happen until the people are disarmed.
Thanks for that SJ. Street gangs are currently divided by neighborhood, historical ties, and economics of the drug trade.
Once they have a common enemy, and charismatic and capable leadership, they will organize.
Remember, there are still alot of National Guard armories in the cities and many of those have hundreds of select fire rifles, some crew served weapons and tons of gear. Enterprising gang members would target those quickly, as well as police stations.
Gang members will not take prisoners either, unless you are female.
EVERYONE I speak with lately expects something very nasty in the near future.
Everyone should be in the final stages of their preps.
It’s a very good idea to run real life drills. Turn off the house main disconnect and live without power for a week. It will help identify area where further preps are needed.
It will happen again. In fact, I fully expect in a widespread riot situation, the fed will step in, federalize all the police under NIMS, and then the FED will decide where the local police will go and what they will protect, which will be government installations or other critical infrastructure such as power plants, water plants, hospitals, etc.
It will not be to quell riots. The rioters will be armed and shooting, not holding signs and throwing the occasional water bottle.
Ever during times of relative normalcy, if I respond to a call with a person injured and is still in progress, it is SOP for the dispatcher to advise me that the fire department is staging, advise when scene is secure.

There was an eye-opener incident not too long ago where there was a problem with the EBTs not being “recharged” and after 3 days, there were some VERY angry Atlanta urban females.

Brother, I know, I have personally saved the mailman from dying in section eight housing because forced reparation checks were late...
It’s going to bad, real bad. There are very, very few people in the impoverished areas who would be considered preppers. I have heard people remark aloud, “I’m hungry, I wish the mailman would come...”
That is telling.
Now, the question is, how many of them are going to sit on their extremely wide asses and complain, how many are going to fight with each other, and how many are going to go “rent seeking” into the neighborhoods of the prepared?
