Dick Morris: Obama to Sign UN Gun-Grab Treaty and RAM IT DOWN OUR THROATS

But the Senate will never ratify, you say?
Guess what, they don't need to...
Speaking on Fox and Friends this morning, Dick Morris explained that when the US signs such an international treaty, the nation is bound until the Senate rejects it or the President renounces it. In just nine days from now, the terms of this treaty will be finalized.
Morris went on to say that this heinous agreement -which would in-affect repeal the the Second Amendment and deny us all of the divine right to self-defense- will likely be signed by Obama... then Harry Reid will simply never bring it up for a vote, keeping the ATT treaty in-effect.
Then, if Dear Leader actually manages to win a second term and continues with his ongoing date-rape of this country, he will of course never renounce it, either... meaning we're stuck with it for a minimum of 4.5 years, in which time they'd be able to assault your Second Amendment gun rights relentlessly... a fait acompli

All of his moves seem to be pushing our buttons pretty hard. He wants a confrontation.
Actually, I think armed confrontation is the last thing Obama or any of his puppetmasters want. They are counting on the continued passivity of the American people. Additionally, I think the average left-winger thinks that the President is actually a king and can do whatever he wants. That's why they are always so surprised and annoyed when someone brings up Constitutional limitations. To put it simply: left-wingers simply do not view government in the traditional American sense; they see it more in the Soviet sense.

"Paging John Boehner!"
You'll find him in the men's room, desperately searching for some physical evidence that he belongs in there.

And when you have to put your name in a database to buy ammo? What then? You know, like needing a photo ID to buy cold / hay fever medication?
Hidden guns. Bah! Tell me why in America an American would possibly need to hide their guns? If we’re at that stage, we had better be using our guns to water the tree of liberty.

To Arms To Arms.
The coming rally cry.
Meanwhile, this POS is trying to force a confrontation it is as simple as that. He can only guarantee reelection that way or have no election.
I would love to have him order a suspension of voting and have the states tell him FY, and do it anyway.

What will simply happen is that people will hide their guns, PERIOD.
I honestly hope you're wrong, because what in the heck is the point in having guns if whenever the government abuses its own authority, all you do is hide them? The 2nd Amendment was written specifically to give the American people a last form of resistance. If the US government (or anyone else) comes for those guns, we should not be hiding them - we should be USING THEM. Otherwise, we are not worthy of being called "American".

Preventing it going through the Senate simply means that it has not met the 2/3rds requirement of Senate approval.Phil ... got another one here who needs to be familiarized with the Senate's quorum rules ... I'll leave it in your capable hands.

Well, I respect your optimism anyhow.
What we need to do is make “Repeal John Boehner” a required campaign promise by any conservative running for Congress in 2012.
The man’s been a disaster. I hate to say this but Obama has done more damage since our 2010 victory than he had done in his first 2 years with Pelosi in control.
Another 2 years of John Boehner could mean losing the House.

When can we stop with the silly crap of petitioning people who don't give a crap what we want, and hold them to their oath?
How many of our elected criminals glossed over the raping of the constitution by straight abdication of their oath of office.
How many are millionaires since they have been in their office?
When can we all (collectively) put on our big boy & girl underwear and put an end to these assclown crooks?

“Even if Barry is re elected there is an excellent chance the Republicans will take the Senate. Their first order of business would be to schedule a vote on the treaty.”
And the second order of business just went from closing the EPA to the impeachment of Mr. Soetero.

I wish that I could believe that that would make a difference, but there is nothing in the last 20 years that sticks out as a guide post of what the republicans have accomplished to stand for the Constitution. Other than placating an apathetic constituency.
Giving themselves automatic pay raises, throwing some "bridge to nowhere" dumbass project by way of capitulation for some other dumbass project.

You can’t ratify a treaty by executive order. There is a Constitutional process that has to be followed.

"The UN is simply NOT the strong-arm organization that it claims it is."That is exactly right. It's a toothless old man, utterly worthless in enforcement of anything without U.S. muscle and money.
If anyone believes for a second that the U.S. military will begin scouring their own country to confiscate privately held weapons from the citizenry.....they have another thing coming. Won't happen.
...and they (the U.N.) sure as HELL won't try to send in foreign, blue-helmeted troops to do the dirty deed. They'd be mowed down in the streets. Fact.

I agree with Biggirl's prediction. What you say should happen and what will most likely happen are two different things.
We're talking about a pResident who took us to war with Libya after consulting with the UN (not Congress) but that's not the point... it was called a NO FLY ZONE and we saw what Obama's No Fly Zone really was. Carpet Bombing.
The man has taken the American State of Arizona to the United Nations with a complaint against the state.
Think about it. If things appeared to get out of control, where do you think Obama will go to seek help?
If Carpet Bombing is now what a No Fly Zone is I would hate to see what a No Weapons Zone would look like with Chinese and Russian planes flying above under the UN flag.
