Hello,
My wife's (FReeper hellinahandcart) dad has been undergoing chemo and radiation therapy for a fast growing cancer. He's nearing the end of his treatments, but there appears to be something else very wrong.
She says that he is basically out of his mind. This apparently is not related to his cancer, according to the doctors. They are trying to get him to take a CAT scan but he is having none of it. He is also suffering from hallucinations now.
On top of that, he may be coming down with pneumonia and his white blood cell count is down on account of the cancer treatments.
I ask your prayers for either his healing or a quick end.
Please pray for HHC and her family (mom, two brothers). She is going through a tough time.
His name is Jim.
Thanks, 'Pod.
Please keep them in your prayers. ‘Pod.
Dear God,
Please look out for Jim and his family as he goes through this health crisis. He is a good man from a great family and needs your grace during this time. God bless his family and please give him a miraculous recovery.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Sincerely,
Bob
My Dad lost his mind after open heart surgery. He was always sharp as a tack with no problems. They never could tell us why or what happened. It was so strange. He passed away 3 months after the surgery. It’s astounding what teams of doctors at good hospitals can’t figure out.
Thanks naps.
Prayers for Jim. And for all concerned.
I know. I agree.
My wife thinks it may be an undetected tumor on the brain or a blood clot or ...
Kinda hard to tell when he refuses to get checked out and insists that he has already taken his meds when he hasn’t.

“NOT OVER—BUT THROUGH”
I came to the swift raging river,
And the roar was the echo of fear.
“Oh Lord, give me wings to fly over,
If you are, by your promise,quite
near.”
But He said, “Trust the grace I am
giving,
All-pervasive, sufficient for you.
Take my hand; we will face this
together;
But my plan is - “Not over—but
through.”
At times it is easy to trust HIm,
And each promise shines like a light.
“Oh Lord, I am willing to trust you;
I just don’t want to walk in the night.”
But He said, “You can trust me—
whatever;
When courage and strength are all
gone,
When nothing seems right or seems
easy,
When all you can do is hang on.”

very similar to yours. May you know God’s communion and compassion at this time!

You can count on my prayers for HHC’s dad.
prayers going up
Prayers for Jim. I went through this with my dad.
So hard. My dad had every test they could give him and they still couldn’t figure it out. Hope it all gets better.
I have a friend, up here, who is going through cancer treatment and the medications made him act crazy, as well. The doctors have tweaked his meds and he's doing better but it took them a while to figure it out.
Will pray sauropod.
I am so sorry you guys are going through this. I will keep everyone in my prayers. Remember to let God drive the car.
