On Sundays This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Washington Post columnist George Will said that last weeks decision and subsequent reversal by the Susan G. Komen Foundation to take funding away from Planned Parenthood was strictly about abortion and less about womens health, adding that the case illustrates how far liberals are willing to take the fight to defend abortion.
This is not about womens health. This is about providing 300,000 abortions a year. Planned Parenthood cleverly cast this saying, We are in the mammogram business. Theyre not in the mammogram business they are in the referral of mammograms. This showed two extraordinary things, George. First, the American left cares about ending wars and they care about poverty and they care about the environment, but they really care about when theyre not perfunctory is when you touch abortions. And historians will marvel that American liberalism in the first part of the 21st century is defined as defense of abortion.
Will added that there was a degree of hypocrisy in that the Obama administration has chosen to take the choice away from Catholic institutions pertaining to providing contraception.

Abortion, gay rights and environmentalism.
The ‘sacraments’ of liberalism are the same as for Baal worship.
The tyranny of the extrouterine over the introuterine. They are killed because they are inconvenient. Abortion is barbaric and the liberals are all for it. Fewer people on their beaches and on their roads.
If Planned Parenthood was in the mammogram business, they would be called Planned Mammograms.
“The seven sacraments of their secular culture are abortion, buggery, contraception, divorce, euthanasia, feminism of the radical type, and genetic experimentation and mutilation. These things they unabashedly espouse, profess and promote. Their continuance in public office is a clear and present danger to our survival as a nation.” - Bishop Doran
Good sound bite by Will...
Better sound byte by +Robert.
Wow. George squared.
One of them needs to get back to the rest home.
I suspect historians will be far more preoccupied with how government willfully spent future generations into a collapsed economy that took 30 to 50 years to rebuild.
what utter crap..
an effete Beltway turd waxes on about the hypocrisy of the Left on abortion
the same George Will trumpeting the campaign of a pro abortion Northeastern liberal Mitt Romney
what a turd in a bowtie
I give more a damn what the bum downtown on lower Broad who asked me for some change thinks than what Will does...

The bow-tied self righteous so-called Conservative elitist is just trying to refit himself back into relevancy with the core conservative elements of our society. This is not heartfelt, nor is it earth shattering. He follows the elitist Republican talking points so much, so often, he feels periodically he has to fake a pass back to the conservative side, lest he just be considered another liberal MSM ideologue...it is his living in DC to be the token “conservative” voice; this is just an expression of that - although he does not mean it one damned bit.
I think Planned Parenthood made a huge tactical error in attacking Any other organization that was considering a donation to Planned Parenthood will shy away because they do not want to get embroiled in PP’s politics. It’s a one-way street, once you make a donation to PP, you can never back out.
Posting an excerpt of transcribed videos and then linking to your blog, is not news - it’s called a blog. And for the last time - please post them in the appropriate forum.
Could you provide a link to Will "trumpeting" Romney's campaign? Funny, I read Will all the time and I've never seen such a statement.
