I thought we had a NAFTA which covered trade between the countries. Why does it not cover this?

This is Krautie in his broken-clock phase. Most the time, he’s a “squish”.

The Weather Channel is busy ripping Republicans on it this morning, saying it would have at most created a couple thousand jobs, not worth Hussein’s time, apparently.

Stupid mindless Peas of Sh!t Hussein Heads.

It is not possible to care less what this self appointed, self agrandizing, know-it-all, faux intelligencia political pundit thinks or has to say about the issue.

That now cleared....question: the "oil" under discussion is from tar sands, yes? If so, does it not take much more energy to convert this stuff to usable fuel that normal or "sweet" crude??

If so, don't we (US) have better sources on the north slope and here in the US? Why are not we drilling for it? Where did the "big noise" go with the chant of "Drill, baby, Drill"??? Where (and who) are the candidates supporting the drilling option?

MY....how times do change??

The difference between liberals and conservatives:

Conservatives look for ways to make a project reality in the shortest time possible.

Liberals look for ways to stop a project through the most convoluted, difficult process possible.

Progressives are not for progress.

Robert Heinlin once said that you should never attribute to malice that which is more properly attributable to stupidity.

This pipeline decision, as well as a recent ban on uranium mining on federal lands in Arizona, got me to wondering if the Obama regime is malicious or stupid, and I have conluded that they are not mutually exclusive. My only question is whether they are maliciously stupid or stupidly malicious, or merely malicious AND stupid.

I must conclude that all three are true, because the decisions benefit nobody, and hurt a lot of people, not the least of which are those of us who consume petroleum products. The decisions were made on behalf of environmentalists who are also all three, because they do not benefit, either, except in their own delusions.

There are currently 25,000 of pipeline in Nebraska, and the new pipeline would only add less than 300 miles in Nebraska which is .01 percent, more commonly known as a rounding error.

The media will pimp this but even the union thugs will have a hard time telling their members that the 20,000 initial jobs and the tens of thousands of add on jobs, that will be lost, are Bush's fault.

If there was anyone remaining who had any doubts that Obama was a fullbore leftist in thrall to all the leftist, anti-progress nutjobs, this should relieve them of those doubts. The stupid actions by this incompetent buffoon keep mounting. Soon the mountain of mistakes will be so high, we'll have to blast them into outer space.

I'd like to see Obama run on this slogan in 2012" "Hi, I'm Barack Obama, and I've shut down the Keystone pipeline and deprived tens of thousands of Americans of jobs and the country of reliable oil. Please vote for me."
