A gigantic python snake in Florida ate a 76-pound adult deer. The 16 foot long Burmese python was one of the largest pythons discovered to date in the sunshine state.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife Commissions exotic species coordinator Scott Hardin, if these huge snakes arent killed, they could migrate northward. A government sanctioned shotgun blast stopped this snake from its potential journey to Atlanta or the Carolinas.
And just how any inches around did the beasts belly have to measure in order to covert a 76 pound Bambi into breakfast? 44 inches.
Oh, and what is the average weight of a 11-year old boy in America: 76 pounds
.something to think about.

They are reproducing in the everglades like crazy. Supposedly they came from a research lab destroyed in a hurricane.

NO! They came from the Walt Disney propagandized “no kill” do-gooder snake fanciers. Bert the snake was cool when he was a little guy eating a mouse or two a week, but when he moved into chickens and took up half the patio, it was time for a “Born Free” replay. Dumb a$$es.
Now, that havin been said, some years ago a friend saw a cobra crossing Loop Road near 40-mile bend on the Tamiami Trail. That coulda been from Bill Haas’ old Miami Serpentarium.

Oh yeah, and one other thing - the Gummn’t has spent so many years running civilians off “the Gummn’t’s land” that these things can grow unmolested. How about opening up the ‘Glades and putting a $50 bounty on these snakes and see what happens?
At $100-$200 for large snakes, it may be enough of an incentive in this economy to turn ol’ Bert into doggie chow.

The videos over at cleantv seem to suck. They dont show actual video of the events they talk about. Just a moontage of still photos, many of which have nothing to do with the events at hand.

"A government sanctioned shotgun blast"?
If they put a bounty on the damned things and get out of the way there are plenty of swamp running Floridans qualified to handle this, for a lot less money.

Thanks geraldmcg.
This is devastating news — the 76 pound deer was supposed to lead the big parade.
