The announcement is to be expected and will be coming shortly from all that I keep hearing, and my inbox is exploding. The writing is on the wall. The establishment class in the Republican party have thrown everything they could at thwarting a Palin run. There have been recent primary date changes in Florida and South Carolina. These moves were artificially moved forward to prevent any more time for a candidate to game the system, to leisurely let the field collapse before entering. This was a specifically choreographed effort by the GOP. The fear of a "Rogue" candidate is almost bordering on hysteria. They must be in control and must be a part of any candidacy. They cannot handle the rejection that Palin casts their way.
The establishment is under pressure because they know "they" will lose the party to a conservative coalition and they will soon be out of jobs. There was a strong push for a Chris Christie run. I predicted last week that he was not running, but that he would wait until the last possible moment to finally concede definitively that he was out. That moment came earlier today. I know there are many out there that will point out that he has been saying no for a long long time, and while that is true he has consistently dropped little nuggets that gave the establishment hope. The media was dragging the story a long and let us be honest Chris Christie loved the attention. The truth is Chris Christie did not want to run, he was being drafted to run or to string a long the media with the idea of a run. This would run down the clock and hopefully prevent Palin from entering the race.
The conventional collective wisdom

You got that right!
We’ll probably also take out the PayPal servers with all of the online donations.
Anything to carry Mittens across the finish line.
No source. Just BS. Writers know that Palin brings clicks to a site. Just another pimp with nothing.
Primaries are moving due to competition between the states. This has NOTHING to do with Palin or any other person not running for president currently.
If Palin needed help winning Texas, it would mean she was about to lose in a landslide.
If Palin actually got in the race, and I feel confident she wont, and won the nomination I'd guess she'd chose Rubio to give her a better shot at Florida. If she really wanted to be unconventional, maybe Cain if he were still doing well through the primaries.
To put a twist on a ditty that used to posted here all the time...
All you bandwith belongs to us LOL !
That would be funny. I would not mind seeing that.
I have got to see this movie.
I dont see how the article supports the title. IT is just a bunch of hope without any hard evidence.
I’ll vote for Palin no matter who she chooses but right now I would favor Rubio.
I would have said Perry, but he’s had so much bad press lately he might drag her down, although he’s a formidable compaigner and has a lot of charm.
Cain would be my last choice ... but
I agree although the links do sum up and point to the direction of her jumping in.
Christie Leaves Kristol at Altar -- October 04, 2011 --Well, you may have heard by now, ladies and gentlemen, that Governor Christie of New Jersey has scheduled a press conference for one o'clock, 55 minutes from now. Major news organizations are reporting that Governor Christie is going to say again that he is not running. This will leave Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard stranded at the altar once again. Others are reporting Kristol has been spotted at Dulles International with a clipboard asking passengers at random if they want to run... The first giveaway to me was when Christie schedules his presser at one o'clock, directly opposite the Apple iPhone 5 announcement. That's all I needed to know. Not gonna run. If you schedule up against an Apple announcement it means you don't want a whole lot of people to hear about it. I'm kidding. I'm sure Christie doesn't even know that Apple has an announcement at one o'clock. So the question, how many times does he have to announce this? By the way, Nancy Reagan is out there, (paraphrasing) "These reports are crazy. I didn't tell him I wanted him to run. I haven't told anybody I want 'em to run." That's what she's putting out.
Works for me
I think Palin is waiting for her good friend Michele Bachmann to drop out first.
