The announcement is to be expected and will be coming shortly from all that I keep hearing, and my inbox is exploding. The writing is on the wall. The establishment class in the Republican party have thrown everything they could at thwarting a Palin run. There have been recent primary date changes in Florida and South Carolina. These moves were artificially moved forward to prevent any more time for a candidate to game the system, to leisurely let the field collapse before entering. This was a specifically choreographed effort by the GOP. The fear of a "Rogue" candidate is almost bordering on hysteria. They must be in control and must be a part of any candidacy. They cannot handle the rejection that Palin casts their way.
The establishment is under pressure because they know "they" will lose the party to a conservative coalition and they will soon be out of jobs. There was a strong push for a Chris Christie run. I predicted last week that he was not running, but that he would wait until the last possible moment to finally concede definitively that he was out. That moment came earlier today. I know there are many out there that will point out that he has been saying no for a long long time, and while that is true he has consistently dropped little nuggets that gave the establishment hope. The media was dragging the story a long and let us be honest Chris Christie loved the attention. The truth is Chris Christie did not want to run, he was being drafted to run or to string a long the media with the idea of a run. This would run down the clock and hopefully prevent Palin from entering the race.
The conventional collective wisdom

It appears that the Republicans and MSM did the job on Perry by destroying his changes.
It is going to be either Romney or Palin. If Palin doesn't jump in, it is going to be Romney. And he would be about as bad as John McCain would have been.
Man oh Man I am practically cracking up over here. I just noticed drudges new headline and it is the freaking simpsons. oh man. We really need this, conservatives really deserve this.
[There was a strong push for a Chris Christie run.]
Yup, that was an amazing bit of hysteria by the RINOs since they can see Romney has zero traction. The Wall Street Journal had an editorial about the shortened primary window preempting every new candidate but Christie and now he wasn’t running. Glaring omission of Palin’s name.
If Palin runs, the lamentations of the PDSers who said she was just in it for the money should flow like rivers.
I predict that if Palin gets in....Rudy and perhaps otehrs will get in. Particularly if she gets top tier status.

Big picture of Sarah, with large red banner letters under it: Palin Time! (The picture and story are still up, just further down in the center column now.)
Horsesh*t! Someone needs less tin foil. The states are fighting over influence. It has nothing to do with an RNC conspiracy to game the system.
It’s still on the body of the page . Maybe something bigger will be taking the headline.
I have to admit that if Palin enters the race in the next week or so she will have to be crowned the Master of Political Timing.
Perry looks like a goner as does Bachmann. Cain is a good guy but can he poll conservative votes ahead of a Sarah Palin? I don’t think so. Gingrich - nope. Ron Paul - with that foreign policy - also a nope. The rest of field - big nope.
So it could be Palin, Cain and Romney. Palin can win that.
Get out the popcorn. It’s Sarah-time.
She is not presidential, too much drama...and I give her credit in thinking she would not do it "for the sake of the children". The family has been through enough ridicule, lies..innuendos; after a while no one knows the truth and could care less; people get tired and move on. Palin will be successful as a popular Fox News Contributor during the 2012 election time-frame. Palin can count her blessings in other ways..and am sure has many times. It's too complicated now.
As the Governor from NJ said,[a dig maybe?] he will continue in his job to which he had been elected to serve his own voters in NJ.
It’ll be Palin/Perry.
That’s how it is going to go down. Perry will deliver Texas. Romney can’t deliver Mass, or he’d be in. Cain can’t deliver anything.
Perry will be the institutional GOP guy, and Palin will be the maverick. He will also serve as the leaker, because Palin is going to throw daylight everywhere. Neither party is interested in that, and the average joe could care less if they do or not.
She waited long enough to make sure this was going to be a referendum on EVERYTHING. She can legitimately claim that both parties have thrown EVERYTHING at her, and she’s not only still here, she’s got more influence than anybody in the race.
Frankly, I like Cain a lot... but being a political CEO is much different than Godfather's Pizza. I would vote for him over Romney but I would take Palin in a heartbeat over Cain. Perhaps she can offer him the VP slot...
Locked, Cocked and Ready to Rock!

Hey, come to think of it, my toddler was part of 2008.
Mine just missed 2008. Was born on the chosen ones coronation.

I want Palin to run as much as anybody but . . . does this guy have any kind of track record for veracity, or is he just blowing smoke?
You know I never thought the primaries were moved up to prevent Sarah from running...I thought it was calculating a big win for Mittens in Florida.
