Yesterday, singer Tony Bennett appeared on Sirius Radio to promote his new album, "Duets II", and told Howard Stern we caused the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by bombing 'them' and they flew the planes into the World Trade Center to tell us to 'stop'.
Bennett said:
“Who’s the terrorist? Are they the terrorists or are we the terrorists? Two wrongs don’t make a right.” He later added, “They flew the plane in" but "we caused it" because "we were bombing them and they told us to stop."

Although it was five days later, I think (via the use of subtle, but clearly antagonistic wording) he did just that.

the moslims declared war on us twice in the 1990's then started attacking us all over the world, such as embassy bombings in Africa, the Cole, and 9-11. We are at war with them. We have the right to defend ourself and if that means bombing them then so be it.
