Needs to be a chicken egg from a farm raised hens. Hint for you non-country folk: farm raised hens don’t lay white eggs.

Actually, the egg color depends on the breed. The majority of laying hens raised commercially are white Leghorns, which lay white eggs. Someday, I'd love to get those Araucana chickens that lay blue eggs.

LOL! You have egg on your face. Where do you think white eggs come from? A factory?

Color also depends on diet. All the hens I have ever had laid brown eggs.

Color also depends on diet. All the hens I have ever had laid brown eggs. The yolk was darker and they taste better than the eggs from hens raised in an egg farm.

I distinguish small-farm raised hens from those raise in egg farms where they have 50,000 hens. Most of those hens will never scratch and peck on real earth.

The color of the egg shell depends on the breed of chicken. I know small stead farmers who have hens that lay white eggs.
Free range chickens certainly don’t have yolks that pale. The yolks are deep yellow or orange.

It’s logical. Milk is white and it comes from factories.

False. Different breeds of chickens lay different color eggs. My "free rangers" lay, depnding on which hen is laying:

Bright white, cream, sage green, pale turquoise, pink, tan, light brown, reddish brown, dark chocolate brown, and sometimes the brown ones have very dark speckles, too.

Like I said, all the chickens I ever had laid brown eggs. And I also think that the darker yolk makes the eggs taste better.

Interior color of the yolk depends on diet; lots of bugs in the diet will get you beautiful deep yellow to orange yolks. [My neighbor adds red pepper flakes to her feed when the bugs aren't numerous enough, apparently that works too butI haven't tried it.]

External shell color is genetic... a chicken's egg shells will be the same general color throughout her life no matter her condition... though speckling or absence of it will vary. If that first egg is brown the rest will be, too.
