Governor Palin Retweets Article Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

This re-tweet from Governor Palin should pretty much put an end to the outrageous rumors that she’ll endorse Rick Perry. The great article from Whitney and PA4Palin re-tweeted by the Governor directly contrasts Governor Palin’s stellar record on debt and liabilities with the futile records of Mitt “peacetime” Romney and Rick Perry. If Palin is endorsing Perry, why is she re-tweeting an article that slams his inability to control what Governor Palin has described as the “foundation of destruction?”

It’s also noteworthy that the article that Palin re-tweeted pretty much calls for her to run for the presidency.

Yes, it is hill...not Al...that is their dream of returning to the WH...lots of activity behind the scene and a possible set up for this...the dems are so livid, they are ready to throw the WH occupant under the bus...he is not only taking down their party...but they’ve seen how completely over his head he is which is also destroying their party.

The EO he signed to force sixth grade girls to take Gardasil tells me that he simply cannot be trusted with power.

Don't we already have an over-bearing, arrogant SOB in the White House that thinks he's qualified to tell the rest of us how to run our, and our children's lives?

No point in replacing one with another, irrespective of whether there's an (R) or (D) after their name. Don't need a bunch of no-good politicians telling me how to live my life or raise my children, period.

All of what you say is true... but at this point... I am ready to burn the crops and salt the earth... I care no longer about pretty. What we must do as true Conservatives... requires a Conservative leadership with total commitment to saving the USA and reinstalling the Founder’s intent... no compromising Conservative principles. This election is a different animal... this is not a game... it is not politics as usual... and many of us want to defeat the progressive republican leadership as much as we do the demonic dims.

I am not saying that they have a chance, but they might give up if Palin entered the race with a strong enough showing, and not waste their time, effort and MONEY. It costs a lot to run for president.

It’s called “The Call to the Post.” Immediately after it is sounded, the horses head for the starting gate. A rather apt allusion to where we are in the chronology of the 2012 election season. Thank you. While the call to the post is just now sounding, several “studs” and at least one filly have been prancing around, seeking to have admiring glances come their way. And that will be all well and good, until the Ineluctible Filly known as “Sarah P” joins the Post Parade.

My father-in-law was a coonhunter. I joined him on numerous hunts with the black & tan hound “Old Dan.” How does this relate to the political race? Hunters of all kinds, where hounds are involved, like to boast and brag about how great their dogs are. But as they say, “The bullshit stops when the tailgate drops!”

I believe that will be the case when Ms. Sarah enters the race, too.

I have several acquaintances with young daughters, none have had the shots and they are in TX public schools.

Apparently, you/they can thank the Texas House and Senate for that. They made the shots 'unmandatory', as noted in my post.

However, the shots are available if they think their girls are at risk for human papilloma virus (HPV).

I could not agree more. There had better be kids dying in the streets before any politician decrees mandatory inoculations.

One should wonder how far a politician like that would go with real power. Fortunately, for now, there are still legislative ways to stop someone like that.

Trust Perry? I don't think so.

Are you aware that U of T John Sealy Hospital in Galveston was over $80 million in the red the year before Ike hit...treating patients who didn't pay.

Thirty years ago one of the charity hospitals in Houston, think it was called LBJ, was $25 million in the red. Who knows what the cost is to Parkland Hospital for unpaid health care.

I wonder what the total loss is for indigent health care in Alaska compared to TX..

Fed gov't unfunded mandated programs kill states with big populations.

How many illegals are on food stamps in AK?

I still think Houston population alone costs TX taxpayers more than total cost to taxpayers in Alaska.

As for electricity, gas, water, etc. is why most rural people have propane, water wells and have to pay to have electrical lines to their houses...those services are handled by municipalities, not states.

There was only one special session this year. We got voter ID and the ultrasound Bill; the two the Governor placed on the “emergency list” for the Regular session. You’d think the 101 R’s in the House and majority in the Senate could do it in 5 months if it had been possible.

We lost the sanctuary city bill because of the unconstitutional wording of the original. Attorney General Greg Abbott, a Constitutional expert if there is one in Texas, suggested re-wording that would pass muster. After that, Hotze, Abrams, and some of the extremists pulled any and all support. Once again, the perfect was the enemy of good.

Did we meet at any of the Committee hearings? What did you testify on? I only went up there 5 or 6 times this year, testified in person only 3 or 4 (sonogram x 2 and once in Transportation against the high-handed way the Committee was treating the of the people who were there all day to speak. And against the stupid bill that would have made it illegal to stand on the side of the road. By then, I just told them to remember who sent them to Austin and that they were going to want our support again next Spring.)

Perry did not have line veto power that Alaska gives their Governor. The voters authorize borrowing. We’ve voted on the debt over and over. http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/02/28/2884195/texas-highway-borrowing-us-up.html

Our legal population from births and within the US grows 100 to 1300 a day. We took up most of the New Orleans and Louisiana refugees after Katrina and Rita, in spite of our own losses and then suffered Ike, drought and wildfires. That in addition to the 11 ICE deportation detainee centers (Alaska has none) where ICE and DOJ send all the illegal aliens from other States -— and then lets them go too often.

Most of that debt is bonds for road construction. Some is actually student loans that are being paid off by the interest being paid by the people who borrowed the money.

Just because there was an opt out, which a parent would have to jump through hoops to get. It is still a MANDATE.

He went behind his Legislature and constituants because he knew they were all against it. The Legislature was able to overturn the MANDATE though.

Palin wasn’t Governor for two years, you need to recheck your figures.

True. She was governor for greater than two years, just shy of 32 months to be exact:

From December 4, 2006 to July 26, 2009.
