Governor Palin Retweets Article from Whitney Pitcher and PA4Palin That Notes How Rick Perry Almost Tripled Texas’ Total Debt

This re-tweet from Governor Palin should pretty much put an end to the outrageous rumors that she’ll endorse Rick Perry. The great article from Whitney and PA4Palin re-tweeted by the Governor directly contrasts Governor Palin’s stellar record on debt and liabilities with the futile records of Mitt “peacetime” Romney and Rick Perry. If Palin is endorsing Perry, why is she re-tweeting an article that slams his inability to control what Governor Palin has described as the “foundation of destruction?”

It’s also noteworthy that the article that Palin re-tweeted pretty much calls for her to run for the presidency.

I didn’t read it. I scrolled through it as I think most people do with long posts containing links.

We are more interested in discussing the thread we’re on than delving into all that.

But, unless the mods decide you’re spamming, I guess you can continue to do it.

PS I live in Texas and I know Rick Perry, warts, good hair, boots and all.

The Republican Party has stabbed conservatives in the back too many times to count. We get a RINO in there, I ain’t voting for ‘em, even if it means Obama wins. I held my nose to vote for McCain. Never again.

This woman is willing to stab her own political party in the back. I saw “The Undefeated” and it was a hit piece on the Republican party while giving the message that Sarah Palin walks on water.

It wasn't a hit piece, it told the truth.

Point out the inaccuracies if it was such a "hit piece".

Little do you know....you happen to have your facts wrong. There are more lies out there as there has been with Sarah...IF Sarah enters...I will support her...if I see she can’t win the nominee and Perry can...I’ll support him...I want the person as the Republican nomineee that can beat that fag in the WH... Now the rumor is PIAPS will jump in the primary against zero....I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she ends up being the nominee for the dems. A lot can happen between now and then.

I really like this rivalry.

Palin and Perry are both signficant competitors. Unlike Myth Romney, they do not use the Alinsky tactics of dishonest underhanded mudslinging-by-proxy, and both are far better candidates than Obama. Both are up front and unafraid about their own positions.

This will be a very interesting campaign. Would not rule out a Palin / Perry, or Perry / Palin ticket.

With Michele Bachmann very likely involved in a big way.

Now. About our trade situation..........

Can JUST ONE CANDIDATE please start raising the topic?

So Trump doesn’t do something stupid!

(hi Donald, actually I’m a supporter - Trump for US trade rep!)

:D

When you say "state level" which state are you referring to? Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, or California?

Texas.

AZ has already done their part with a perfectly acceptable and Supreme Court approved law called AZ1070, which, BTW, Perry came out against, which should tell you exactly where Rick Perry is on the issue of Illegal Immigration.

"Stop posting lies. This has been refuted like a million times. (the Gardisal thing)"

By whom? YOU!

RICK PERRY MANDATES USE OF GARDASIL FEB. 2007

Did you have your head in the sand 4 yrs ago?

Oh! I bet you won't believe that Rick Perry was also Al Gore's campaign manager back in 1988 either.

"Now the rumor is PIAPS will jump in the primary against zero"

Who is PIAPS? Hillary? I was listening to John Gibson (talk radio) and he said most people think it will be Hillary, but his money is on Al Gore. He really belives Al will run against Obama.

Our party is willing to stab us in the back, llike with the debt deal.I used to be in the GOP, I’m not in it anymore, I’m an independent conservative. How is Palin stabbing her party in the back, by pointing out the flaws behind Perry and Romney? It’s called a primary and they can get ugly, deal with it, there’s going to be attacks and debates then we rally behind the most conservative candidate to beat Obama. Last question how are you so sure she’s running third party? Do you have inside knowledge of this? Did she tell you she was going to run third party? I think people here would like to know how you came to that conclusion.

Perry believed in Gardisal and believed it protected girls. He didn’t mandate it, one could opt out.

Perry is my governor. I’ve voted for him in every race since he ran for Ag Commissioner. I WORKED FOR HIM as a volunteer when he ran for Ag Commissioner, his first statewide race in 1990.

He is no Sarah Palin. You might be satisfied with simply slowing the rate at which we go to Hell in a hand-basket. I’d like to reverse direction. Palin is our only opportunity to do that.

Perry - albeit better than Romney - will not reduce the size of government or turn federal power back to the states and people. It is not part of his make-up.

Rick Perry is an excellent Governor, but he is not presidential material.
Sarah, OTOH ...... UNDEFEATED! GAME ON!

That’s completely backwards. Managing a high density population is MUCH easier because of economies of scale.

This is just like manufacturing, higher run, lower cost per unit. Mass transit in Dallas or Houston is easy. Making it viable in a place like Lubbock or almost any place in Alaska is very difficult.

Whether you are talking about schools, hospitals, or infrastructure (elec, water, sewage, roads, trains, airports) the less density, the more expensive and more difficult to maintain.

ESL, speech therapy, classes for special needs, etc. are handled in urban areas by creating special schools or classes at key schools and transporting kids to the classes. How do you do that when the nearest school with a hearing impaired class is 70 miles away and only accessibly by plane?

Light plane transport is a big deal in Alaska precisely because many communities - particularly poorer minority areas - are so remote they have to fly in groceries and fly out patients for things as simple as a broken leg or a root canal.

Both states are great, but delivering government services in Alaska, where harsh climate makes travel all but impossible three months out of the year proves Alaska is MUCH more difficult to govern than Texas.

In fact, economies of scale means per capita government should cost less in Texas and property and sales taxes from high value properties means there should be more money in Texas. So, why is Texas so deeply in debt? Why the huge growth in state workers and agencies in Austin?

Rick’s alright as governor, but we can’t afford to hope he does what he’s never done before - cut the size of government.

Palin has done it, and she did it during a surplus!

The Republican party is corrupt. Did you just miss the cave on the debt deal? Did you miss the part where they threatened members if they failed to support the speaker.

Why should anybody show loyalty to the Republican party? They’ve done almost as much damage to the republic as the demonrats.

What are your priorities? Where do your loyalties lie between God, family, state, country, computer brand, political party and brand of laundry detergent?

For me, God first, family second, and then country, and state. My friends rank high and political party isn’t even in the top 10.

I’m a committed conservative because I care about my family, my country, my state, and my friends. I subscribe to the conservative philosophy ONLY because I believe it offers the best for what I am most loyal to.

A political party is just a vehicle. If it doesn’t work, I’ll restore it, put a new engine in, or replace it. If I find corrupt politicians lining their own pockets at the expense of taxpayers - like Sarah Palin did - I will do my best to bring the criminals to justice - regardless of party - because I love my country more.

That is what makes Sarah Palin the perfect antidote to Obama - she is genuine and honest; putting country first is not just a slogan, she really believes it.

Please consider your priorities...
