'The Undefeated': New Palin Movie Already a Success
Andrew Breitbart's Big Hollywood ^ | June 20, 2011 | John Nolte

Posted on 06/20/2011 9:36:49 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The key to the ultimate effectiveness of a documentary like “The Undefeated” is more than just how many people see it or even who those people are. Certainly that matters to some degree, but so does how the very existence of the documentary changes the national political conversation. Naysayers of the “The Undefeated” dismiss the film’s impact by telling us that only Palinistas are going to bother to buy tickets. In other words, since the film preaches to the choir there will be no new converts. Intentionally or not, that’s a fairly simplistic declaration that doesn’t take into account how the film will impact the political news narrative — an impact that’s already apparent to anyone paying attention.

Thanks to the overwhelming publicity the film has already generated (along with the fortuitous combination of the email dump), for the first time since Palin arrived on the national scene her impressive record as the Chief Executive of Alaska is finally getting some serious media attention. Today in the Daily Caller, Rick Manning has an excellent piece that touches on this very subject. In an editorial titled “Will the New Palin Movie Sway Voters?,” he closes with this:

Right now, most Americans are desperate for a leader who will be unfazed by the entrenched big-government culture that pervades D.C. regardless of which political party is in charge.

Most Americans look at the crowd of Republican candidates for the presidency and yearn for someone with guts, charisma and accomplishments.

Palin was the best Executive of Alaska in recorded history.

Name a better one - one who achieved more than she did - or go home.

Her own staff, even her lawyer pinpointed the culprit at Rahm Emanuels door on Larry King Live a few days after she announce she was leaving, they know who was behind this - members of the W.H. and DNC locally and nationally, I believe they have the goods on them. I just get so frustrated that these lazy bums around here can not lift one finger to type on the Internet and find out what was going on in 2009 but they are quick to spew DNC talking points in a flash

Your argument is: a governor is always obligated to saddle the people of her state with the burden of phony ethics charges.

It’s absurd. A governor should try to protect the people from their enemies. This is exactly what Palin did when she resigned. She refused to allow the people of Alaska to suffer as a result of the malicious antics of political psychopaths.

Sit down for a minute and reflect on the stupidity of your argument.

The lack of support from the Republican Party is an untold story. Why they left Sarah Palin swinging the wind is a mystery to me. Maybe it was GOP Chairman Michael Steele’s poor stewardship that failed Sarah Palin’s need for help. It would make for a good research project.

It was an Alaska thing in that the Atty Gen was not permitted, by law, to defend the chief executive who was charged with defending themselves on ethics charges. It was specifically designed to keep the inner sanctoms of corrupt politicians from hiding behind other layers of corruption.

But like everything else they touch, the liberals corrupted that one and used it against her, only after they understood she was not going to stay in the “kitchen” safely tucked away in Alaska.

She was skewering the corrupt Republicans and that is what they wanted and hoped it would clear an easy path for them to move in. That all blew up when she was introduced to the rest of America and she then had to be put down.

Now, wizard of smart, play that one as virtually every other Gevernor and President who has the protection of the Atty Gen.

Now on another note, do you walk to work or carry your lunch? In case you missed it, the previous question was just as relevant as your incessent sniping about absolutely nothing germain to her ability to walk the walk.

Enjoy your chicken but at the same time be mindful that it is actually crow.

“Imagine what she could have done if she hadn’t quit....You can’t be a great executive only doing half a job. I don’t care how many jets you sell.”

And you can’t win a debate with the same old talking points....You need some fresh material.....

You can’t have an excellent record for a job left undone.

You also can't have an excellent record if you're forced to spend your time constantly battling nuisance lawsuits.

Try to take historical facts and reality into account next time you venture an opinion about something.

TO: Patrick1 and anybody else with his misguided mindset:

The e-mails the Libs tho’t would be a “gotcha” moment, proved she was an effective Governor. Do you live in Alaska? If not, then HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW if her record was impressive or not. Has the friggin’ lame stream media finally gotten to you or are you a RINO or a DU Troll?

And you can’t be a great executive when you can’t focus on the job you were hired to do. But seems you’re ok with using taxpayer money to defend ridiculous lawsuits that took time away from the job she was elected to do.

I get the feeling the only thing old Paddy1 is likely to "enlighten" is his grubby finger smeared, paper-bagged fifth of "Flatulent Grouse" "aged for ten weeks" "blended" whiskey, as it gets significantly lighter each time he knocks back a lungfull.

Anyone who can scoff at Palin's executive record of accomplishments clearly has their head jammed so far up their aft tube it's amazing that they can get drunk at all. How does he do it?

"You can’t have an excellent record for a job left undone."

She accomplished every single campaign promise she made and a hell of alot more. What did she leave undone? More to the point, what do you think you accomplish by lying about her?

Pay attention, lip-stick. We have better things to do than bring you up to speed on everything you missed because you were passed out drunk with the pool boy. Or is that just another ugly internet rumor?

"You can’t have an excellent record for a job left undone."

If someone elected to an office leaves it to spare the office damage by others (as well as damage to her family), that someone still has an excellent record. No one is elected to office for the purpose of self-immolation.

Anamnesis, that was a clear and concise explanation of events. I will give you the credit when I quote you. If that is ok.
