In a speech yesterday to the Republican National Lawyers Association, Rudy Giuliani had plenty to say about President Obamas foreign policy, American exceptionalism and the Sept. 11 terror attacks. But, his most ear-catching words focused on his potential bid for the presidency in 2012:
I will sure think about it.
Its too early and I want to see how it all develops. My major goal is to elect a Republican in 2012. If it turns out that Im the best one to do that, I can probably be talked into doing it or convince myself to do it. If I thought somebody else had a better chance of doing it, I would be a very enthusiastic supporter of somebody else.
I don’t think a lot of them are “ruling it out”. It seems to be the common “meme” of any R whom are asked if they are running.
I truly believe they are waiting to see what Sarah does, just as we are.
I personally think she will run. I’m just sitting here, impatiently waiting for the “attack” command from our next POTUS......Sarah Palin, and our next VP Lt. Col. Alan West!
Hope you're feeling great!
No he doesn’t.
The log cabin wing has been largely amputated.
He’ll have to runas a Dem, although for 2012, that might fly.
We don’t need Rudy and don’t need a “Republican”. We need a conservative.

FR is a pro-life, pro-family site. Those of you who wish to support homosexual “rights” and abortion “rights” are welcome to do so ELSEWHERE!! There will be NO campaigns for Rudy or Romney on FR. Not now, not EVER!! Guaranteed!!
FR aggressively defends our GOD-given right to LIFE and freedom of speech without interference by abortionist trolls!!
Reminder to all, we don’t debate abortionist or gay rights trolls on FR. They’re zot on sight.
RINO’s and Roaches have much in common.
Think about it!
Newt minus ten, Rudy zero.
We’’ll rule it out for you, Rudy.
When is McCain going to announce? :eyeroll:
He's just about dumb enough to do it.
So did Milton Berle, Jack Lemmon and Flip Wilson. But then they didn’t run for President.
Giuliani served in the Reagan administration as Associate Attorney General. Did a good job. Then he was appointed U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He did a terrific job, especially with the Mafia Commission Trial. As Mayor of New York, he was unparalleled, especially during 9/11. Believe, me, after General David Dinkins, Rudy was a breath of fresh air.
For New Yorkers, he's very good. On the national stage, not so much; we can do a lot better.
Just what GOP race needs — another retread.
So, you’ll stay at home:same as giving a vote for Obama I’d vote Rudy anytime over Obama.
Republican primary voters, however, are ruling out Rudy as a candidate.
Making the statement that you will vote for anyone claiming to be republican is irresponsible and damaging to the future of our Nation.
Republican means something to me, it is more than just a title.
I agree with you.
