Close Harvard, Yale and Columbia

Husbands, LOVE your wives, just as Christ LOVD the church and gave himself up for her… Eph 5:25

How far ahead would America be if they never had Harvard, Yale and Columbia? These three institutions have done more damage to American than any other institutions in the Country. When you look at where communism started in this Country as well as its institutionalization you have to look no further than these schools to their indoctrination of the most wealthy and powerful children who go on to destroy the foundations which brought their families the success and lifestyles they enjoyed. Whether they go on to become the elite in politics, industry, teaching or journalism their brainwashing from their Marxist professors make up the groupthink which has brought us to the brink of destruction we are at. Harvard, Yale and Columbia are the only places on earth that believes communism works while the rest of the world is trying to escape it.

Our Ivy League schools where people pay hundreds of thousands to attend are the breeding ground of this commie hatred of America. It is where Bill Ayers and the Students for a Democratic Society was formed which declared war on America and still is. His extremely wealthy daddy helped fund his activities and inherited more than enough to finance his later plans. He and his group, the more militant Weather Underground bombed military and National Guard armories around the Country until they realized the better way to overturn the Country was from within and through the colleges. They realized they had young idealist minds what could be twisted with the proper wordology, to be convinced communism was a superior form of gummit; so has organized forty years promoting that strategy through the elite schools.

These radical communists were trained at Columbia, Harvard and Yale which were the schools that began the fight against America and its involvement in Viet Nam. The schools were filled with commie sympathizers as well as card carrying communists long before the war began it’s just that the war emboldened these professors to become more outward and vocal with their dogma. Since then they have bought into the SDS liturgy pushing the America is satan politics and becoming a recruiting program for hardcore leftist philosophy. Not only do they push it but if you intend to graduate or go on to grad school you will be required to parrot their thoughts and beliefs until you are one of them to spread their gospel throughout the land.

Their graduates go on to become politicians or upper level bureaucrats who write the laws to strangle business and industry to conform to their draconian ideas. Most of the NE politicians which are a large share of the population are grads of those schools and are instituting their form of gummit which is more and more socialist every year to the point of their pinnacle; Obamacare. Many of them have the behind closed door goals of bringing this economy down to be replaced with their commie utopia and now have us going over their cliff. We saw this week that it is Congress who spends the money and writes the rules which is filled with these Ivy League grads pushing for our destruction. Other graduates go into journalism to report how wonderful these commie politicians are and promote the socialist lifestyle. They have the same goal and all of the Old York Times and NEstablishMedia are graduates of these schools and especially Columbia. These reporters have been brainwashed by the most radical professors on the planet into the belief that communism is superior to capitalism and that the Free Market is unfair to the poor. This couldn’t be further from the truth but has been spun over the decades that there wouldn’t be poor if there was a communist gummit to level out the incomes of the people. Never mind they are making million dollar salaries and clawing for the multi-million salaries, they believe people all making the same stipend living in their gummit housing riding mass transit will eliminate poverty. It’s easy to believe that way up in your Central Park condo waiting for your limo to take you to the studio knowing how proud your professor must be of your success spreading the gospel.

Then of course the other major graduate of these schools are professors to spread across America to repeat and regurgitate this dogma to students throughout the land. This process is then repeated and repeated to the point that most colleges are 98% commie lib professors spreading the gospel of socialism to their naïve students soaking up this destructive message. The most valued and highest paid professor has Harvard, Yale or Columbia behind his name and the process is repeated until it is fully saturated.

This formula is being repeated over and over to the point there is very little free thought left and when it emerges such as FOX news it is attacked unmercilessly by the graduate army of one way believers. This has united the most powerful forces in America to declare a silent war on her that has been very well organized and executed to slowly but relentlessly take her to the forced utopia the elites have been planning. They have no use for the Free Market even though they have enjoyed its fruits they believe those fruits will not disappear since they are so elitist they can make rewards happen through Central Planning and communism. After they find out it failed like we are just about to do, it will be too late and they will find they were nothing more than tools in a giant plan by some dictatorial fascist.

America would be well off to close Harvard, Yale and Columbia then bulldoze the buildings and salt the land. These institutions have caused more damage to this Country than perhaps any other in the world. These professors are pure evil in what they preach and would prefer a Soviet Union and all its oppression than a free and open society we have enjoyed throughout our history. They spend their lives pointing out the warts and blemishes on Lady Liberty and ignore the beauty of the rest of her being. To them she is one big blemish rather than the symbol of Freedom and Light who has changed the world and released the enslaved throughout the four corners. Harvard, Yale, Columbia and their graduates are the blemishes of this Country and should be exposed and voted out so America can once again lift her Lamp to light the way of Freedom’s path.

Pray for America

Most all of the malfeasant a--holes who have led us into the current quagmire over the last twenty two years have been spawned by these rats'-nests.

Think of all the losers in both parties from GHWBush on who have screwed up this fair land, make a list, and look up their academic histories. Ivy leaguers virtually one and all.

Aww...bitter much?

Groupthink, stereotyping, and the use of excessively broad generalizations aren’t unique to liberals or to Ivy League institutions. Quite a few conservatives suffer from them too.

Folks with working brains believe in holding individuals responsible for their own actions and their actions alone. If a member of the Ivy League community has violated the law, shine the light on them and hold them accountable, rather than condemning an entire community.

Works for me, but you’d also have to root all the communists out of every other university and grade school, then frog-march them to Mexico before we’d see any relief.

Look in the mirror first.

If you voted for a Republican because he (or she) was the "most electable" in a race against a Democrat, you're guilty.

Too many Americans are superficial, whether it's in politics or education. They look only on the surface at the brand name rather than verifying that the goods actually are of sound quality.

(I'm guilty of this too.)

The bastards in Washington, the state capitals, the county seats, the homeowner's associations, the school boards, and other seats of power largely serve at the behest of the body electorate. If the silent majority of Americans are unhappy with the present charlie foxtrot, they should--to quote Jim Robinson here--just...

Vote the corrupt bastards out!

BTTT

My father worked for a large manufacturing company in Chicago as a tool and die maker. The company hired a tool and die maker with a degree from Yale (unbelievable, but true). He joined the union. My father asked him why a Yalie would work for the company? The Yalie was a “C”ommunist and instigated a strike that ended up almost bankrupting the company. Shortly thereafter, the company was sold to a foreign concern and 3,000 people lost their jobs. Thank You Yale! We love ya, now get lost.

These institutions are a block that some check. In America the Obama type punches tickets and gets these badges of success, intellectualism and culture by: 1. Attending an ivy league school (Intellectual) 2. Spending time over seas (Just a few months will do, just to check the block of culture and sophistication) 3. Getting a higher degree (Masters/PhD) 4. Belonging to certain organizations or groups (You're connected, you're obviously XYZ because you have memberships in XYZ) 5. Personal ties to notoriety (You're connected, success and fame through association) 6. Publishing a book (You must be intellectual) It's simple, you have to do these things to get the badge of intellectual and cultured bestowed upon you in America. You can have a degree in fluff, never have a real job, have no principals and flip flop all over the place, fail at everything you touch, yet these things alone are in the eye's of some gates that must have been successfully passed to be "someone." Ross Perot, a former employer of mine years past didn't pass these gates even though he's extremely smart, noble, hard working and principled, rising to fame and fortune because of his performance (The antithesis of Obama that gets the title of cultured and intellectual automatically because he checked these blocks and then only was afforded these opportunities in part because of racial etc preferences). His success record at IBM, EDS, and then Perot Systems, his actions when his people were taken hostage in Iran, should speak for itself. But it didn't in the eye's of Hollywood, the news media nor the East Coast self seen elite because you have to check these blocks. You can write a book that's trash and have someone else write it. You can never have a real job. You can have a degree in fluff...... as long as you check the blocks.

America is a superficial place.

Harvard, Yale and Columbia - combined endowment funds, i.e., "war chests," of over $50 BILLION.
Just what do they need all that money for?

Your comment essentially proves Bray's point. You have posited an argument, and by definition that is a statement/statements which attempt to influence readers' thinking. The argument you make is that a certain concept is not correct (Bray's) and that another is better, more rational (yours).

Bray has simply said that it is observed many of the terribly influential individuals, individuals doing great damage to America, have arisen from a certain group of institutions. Institutions present arguments intended to influence their students thinking. If your remark was intended to persuade, theirs had the same intention...to persuade. And, the damage done by their progeny is so widespread there is reason to believe the common element is their training ground. You would have done better to prove that the training grounds have no such intention. Would you care to do so?

I, for one, believe Bray is onto something.

Bray expresses what many of us know, deep down, is the truth. And Bray chose the Ivy League schools in his or her essay primarily because many of the youth that attend, not all, but many do come from privileged circumstances built upon the fruits of the foundations of our nation.

Because these youth rather automatically become leaders in every aspect of our system due to family circumstances (not jealousy here, just fact), it is PATHETIC that they are so smashed down at school by a groupthink that trashes capitalism and promotes socialism at every turn.

Many universities and colleges do this-liberal means liberal-but the truest universities and colleges encourage debate and exchange of ideas and do not ridicule conservative thought but discuss it along with the more communistic/socialistic/Marxist philosophies.

Imo, a genuine education let's the 'student' decide. A professor should grade on facts presented, the wording used and the cohesiveness of thought regardless of philosophy outlined.

Bray if I misinterpreted your essay, please correct, thanks.

“The working class is Democratic, the middle class is Republican, the upper class is Communist” from the McCarthy Era.

From the John’s Committee in Florida, at the same period, speaking of their investigation into the state of Florida schools - “It’s full of Commies and Queers”.

Go to World Net Daily and look up an article titled “The Gramscian Commie In The White House”.

Now it is more accurately “The Gramscian Commie/cryptoMuslim In The White Hut.”

Same old, same old.

Bray has simply said that it is observed many of the terribly influential individuals, individuals doing great damage to America, have arisen from a certain group of institutions.

No, bray went further than that and claimed that

"America would be well off to close Harvard, Yale and Columbia then bulldoze the buildings and salt the land. These institutions have caused more damage to this Country than perhaps any other in the world. These professors are pure evil in what they preach and would prefer a Soviet Union and all its oppression than a free and open society we have enjoyed throughout our history."

In other words, according to bray, the entire Harvard, Yale, and Columbia communities should be shuttered because some (but not necessarily all) of their membership committed acts that damaged the United States.

By that line of reasoning, one could similarly claim that because some people in a group did bad things, the entire group should be held responsible. This argument is wrong because it holds individuals accountable for the misdeeds and wrong actions of others, just because they belong to the same group.

There are good people and bad people in every group, to varying proportions. If you want to condemn the bad people (e.g., as in bray's essay, Bill Ayers, et al.), you'll find no disagreement from me; it's when you condemn an entire group merely because some of its members are bad people that you will find me raising objections.

You would have done better to prove that the training grounds have no such intention.

All bray has done is make the observation that many influential individuals who have committed acts that damaged the United States tend to come from the same places (i.e., Ivy League and other prominent educational institutions). This observation does not imply that all members of the Harvard, Yale, and Columbia communities are committing (or have committed) acts that damage (or have damaged) the United States.

I would like to also remind the FReepers on here that these days celebrities go to the Ivy League schools, using the degree they get as a means of showing how smart they are as compared to other entertainers. These are supposed to be prestigious schools and are now basically accepting anyone with a ‘name’ and fat checks. Anyone with a ‘name’ can get in and it goes to show that these schools are nothing more than rubber stamps to fat incomes, not a degree showing that they are skilled to not just survive, but succeed in the workforce.

"There are good people and bad people in every group, to varying proportions."

By this line of reasoning, the Communist Party, Ku Klux Klan and Al Qaeda all have some good folks and some bad folks. IMHO, this argument falls flat. There are bad organizations that have no redeeming value.

I believe Bray may be saying that, like other generalizations which proceed from the particulars to the general, there are enough particular bad boys/girls here to assume their training ground is significantly to blame. From bad fruit we infer a bad tree. I tend to agree.

Would you provide information regarding the stellar performers, great statesmen, exceptional patriots you have in mind who brought us a greater America and derive from this orchard? IMHO.

Have you read any articles describing the percentages of those professors and instructors registered as Democrat ( communist really) and those registered as Republican?

When the faculty is that far out of balance then the best action would be to abolish the university. If the communists were fired how could 1% to 5 % that remained run the university? There would be no university.
