A new investigation of Obama’s birth announcements appearing in Hawaii’s two primary newspapers in August, 1961 shows, conclusively, they were the result of a registration record taken by the municipal health authority, not a medically verified “Live" birth documented as occurring at a Hawaiian hospital, per an officially defined "vital event" by the U.S. Department of Health, National Vital Statistics Division protocols.

Because of this practice, announcments can not be used as proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.
I can't argue that...point in fact, after a couple weeks of jumping up and down over the outrageous and heretofore unheard of (even in totalitarian countries) Constitutional and criminal violations against citizens by the TSA - a test run to see how easily we will get in line? - we hear no more as they go meekly through the grope lines.
I am forever grateful that I, years ago, came back to my home state and live amongst mostly conservatives.
I left Massachusetts in the late '60's and California in late '79. In addition, I'm tucked down snugly in the country, look out my windows and see no houses - no 'chimney smoke' as 'twere. And I'm retired so no longer have to suffer young idiots schooled to believe "YEAH CHE".
This serves for a semblance, at least in my personal day to day existence, of peace.

But I do understand your premise. I'll give you an example: My oldest son, in his 50's, never misses a chance to take advantage of April Fools Day. So, yesterday, he got to the office building where he works early enough to beat everyone else and put a sign on the door. (There is only ONE door into their offices.)
The sign had the logo of the buildings management and said: "Please use other door."
He then settled in his office and awaited the fun, anticipating people not taking long to get the joke and come in laughing.
He waited - and waited. People were in the habit of arriving before 8:00. 8:00 came and went. five after 8:00, 6 after 8:00. 7 after 8:00, No one.
8 after 8:00. His phone rang. "Where are YOU?"
"Ah, at my desk."
"You're inside?"
"Ah, yeah."
"How did you get in?"
"Um, through the door."
Silence. He got up and opened the door, looked into the hallway and there were all 12-15 employees, some still trying to find the nonexistent door.
Too funny.
That none put April Fools Day together with it is amazing, That NOT ONE dared disregard the note and at least try opening the door and peering in - sad and scary. Lemmings.
BTW. Why isn't our new Congress rescinding these criminal TSA molestations? Why aren't WE screaming and demanding that they do?
I watched all the video clips available of the CNN debate in question - couldn't find a video on the whole debate.

All I could find was the cached newspaper article with the headline about the Kenyan being elected to the Illinois senate.

Back in the day? Heck, I live just outside of "Podunk, SD" where the grandparents still put the announcements in our small town local paper that is printed in a town nearly a 100 miles away.
Obama is going to have to present a long form certificate of live birth to the SOS in several states to prove he is a NBC. That might keep him from actually running for President. Grey Eagle

We did the same thing this year. Baby’s grandma wanted people in her town wanted people to know about the birth. Appeared several weeks later and solely based on her information. So it still goes on today.
Key info in the report:
1. 1,000s of babies in the papers not appearing on state birth records.
2. Rather than be the usual location for reporting the info for the newspapers, this was the branch nearest Obama’s grandmother.
Hawaiian law DOES NOT require the baby to be born in state (or territory) to receive a birth certificate. This is likely what Obama’s family did and the long form would prove it.
Maybe a District Attorney will charge Obama with Identity Theft for using the false Social Security number or for violating various state and federal laws. But I wouldn’t hold my breath.

So what the hell does that prove? Why would there be birth announcements at all if he wasn’t born there? If he was born in Kenya, how precient of his hippie-dippie anti-American parents to arrange birth announcements half way around the world from where he was born so in forty years he could run for POTUS.

Just five months ago Conservatives inflicted the worst Congressional defeat on Democrats in 60 years.
Average citizens investigating Obama’s life is not a political distraction.
