Could be. Who knows why The Donald does anything he does. He has never struck me as being gullible. So I don’t expect him to start perpetuating debunked rumors on this subject. It’ll be entertaining to watch, that’s for sure.

I think it’s a real stretch to say #1 that Hillary has some BC-related info and #2 she’s only going to use it in partnership with The Donald.
More likely IMHO is that Trump himself has dug up something. He’s certainly got the money to fund an infinite number of PIs’ researchers, and bribe-recipients and as the consummate dealmaker, he damn sure knows what the value of such information would be - to both sides.
I love the fact that they try and talk over Trump and he just doesn’t let it happen.
I don’t care if Trump gets elected president or not, but if he’s successful in unmasking what could be the greatest Constitutional fraud in history, then he deserves a plaque or signpost or a statue in DC. He deserves better than Moe Greene. {/Godfather reference}
Personally, I've been waiting for someone to get hurt enough by what obama and his demonrat and rino cohorts have been doing to start fighting back.
The TEA party certainly rose to the occasion, but not the players like Trump. Not until now.
Whatever his reasons for coming forward, Trump is doing us all a huge favor. All of us have an opinion about obama's eligibility and obama has a duty to clear up the confusion and put this issue behind us.
I have always thought the Clintons had the goods on Obamah but at first they didn't think they would need to play the Birther Card to secure Hillary's nomination.
And then later when they really needed to play their Trump Card it was too late and they would have been called racists and worst, forever damaging both their future careers.
I wouldn't rule anything out at this time except the Pom-Pom media asking Barry for his hospital issued long form BC.
I think Trump knows he has no chance of getting past the primaries, BUT - he is willing to raise an issue everyone else is afraid of.

Were this theory true, HRC’s goal would be to have R’s take down Zero. A democrat taking him down would be fatal to their electoral chances. Democrats are completely dependent on getting 85% plus of the black vote. A democrat who took down Zero would have no future national election prospects.
So on this theory, it would be better to regard it as a false flag operation, with Trump carrying HRC’s water for her.
I really don’t care why Trump’s doing it, I’m just enjoying it. I loved the way Trump stuck it to O’reilly. O’Reilly got burned so bad he kept calling Trump names for the next 2 segments when Trump wasn’t there.
Trump is about money. He sees the greedy vein in the current crop of Demonrats and he knows his head is bound for the chopping block on the great altar of socialism. Trump is on a mission to save his billions.
He's not running, because he would never put his empire into a blind trust.
He can throw hand grenades at the enemy, though, and flush them out from under their rocks, and if he takes a few arrows for it, so be it.
I don’t know why Trump is doing this except that he is a man who knows how to exploit a weakness. The weakness is not really the Birth Certificate...it IS about transparency and openness. The more he talks about this, the more he needs to ...and I think has to a degree...say that Obama’s lack of transparency on this issue is the same as he governs. ALSO more importantly, he needs to hammer the other documents that Obama refuses to release. If it were just the BC, it would be one thing...he needs to keep asking...why won’t he release his real Birth Certificate...his transcripts at all of his colleges especially since no one remembers him. While Obama is on the ropes for lack of transparency, Trump should be showing his actions as simply a continuing pattern.
It’s a cynical political calculation to establish some conservative street cred. And highly entertaining.
There are some great posts on this thread. I’ll try to add to the mix.
First, IMO, Hillary and O have enough goods on each other that neither one dares to make a move. It is probably not in Hillary’s interest for evidence of O’s ineligibility to surface.
The Trump knows how to measure people and he knows politics. Obama has a primary weakness and that is his failure to qualify - even if he is somehow qualified, which on the face of it seems impossible.
Trump is willing to parlay that political weakness for his benefit like no politician has to date. And that is what politics is all about.
As others have stated, Trump has the experience and ability to conduct the necessary background research and he may have done enough to feel comfortable with his public statements. Any such research would include talking with Lucas Smith; LtCol Lakin’s former HI attorney brother, folks in Kenya and England along with others who are unkown to the public.
