Holocaust survivors say Obama betrayed them to side with insurance companies. A group of Holocaust survivors has plans to protest against Barack Obama as he makes an appearance in Miami Beach this coming Friday. The Holocaust survivors also have Democrat Senator Bill Nelson in their sights at the same time, as Obama will be in town to attend a fundraiser for the senator. The Holocaust survivors assert that both Obama and Nelson betrayed them by siding with insurance companies who failed to pay them their entitled money from life insurance policies their families took out just before World War II. Worse still, they accuse Obama and Nelson of telling them they would support legislation for them to sue said insurance companies, only to go back on their word.

Or a public-sector union (non-Federal, of course)?
They'd have to keep the fact that they were Jewish hidden, I suppose. Maybe they could keep their death-camp papers in with Mr. Obama's birth certificate & student loan papers so even Barack wouldn't find them...
If some flatulent smacktard writes something and posts it on his blog, all is well.
If the same flatulent smacktard writes something and posts it here, it’s theft.
Is that how it works?
Bad comparison......turnips are useful.....;)
I think you meant Turdnip.
It’s only Wednesday so I won’t hold any misspellings against ya. LOL
;-)
I curtsy in obeisance to your definite non-n00bness, and I will frequently mention other FReepers without pinging them from now on, and not preach to other n00bs about it, O Founding FReeper.
I’m not being flip.
But they never listen. ;-)
Goodness, where are you? It’s Tuesday here.
I didn’t think that joke would take.
It’s still Tuesday in America. LOL
Naturally.
Yeah, they don’t call me “Thicky” for nothing.
I know, fantasy never has been my favorite genre.
Besides, you've been "banned or suspended" since October 8, 2000...
;-)
Oh, you’re just full of it, aren’t you?
It’s magic. Try scrolling down.
Are you logged in?
On another note, I'm not sure I'm counted amongst the Founding Freepers, having started posting at the relatively late date of March 1997.
Man, those were the days...
Was it really a flame war all the time like some people say?
OMGosh! You mean I may not be logged in? *Gasp* I’ll have to check my beeber.
Anybody in before 1998 has to be a Founding Freeper.
I just think that you folks were lucky to get in when there were relatively few people, and perhaps Jim and John* were a little more accessible, and you probably all got together more than we can now. I bet you all miss that.
*You’ll notice I didn’t ping them.
You should have been here for the Arlington war over the ambassador who claimed he was WWII Merchant Marine. They dug him up in the middle of the night after we were through...
To answer your question - mostly flame wars, most of the time. They were trying to squelch the inflammatory articles that were flowing through hourly.
I just remembered who we were jousting against in the first part of the year - "esrosen", some Madison libtard who kept asking how many Clinton administration people had been indicted for crimes.
BTW, congratulations. You have just participated in our latest thread hijack. Sweet!
[ducking, running away]
I laugh when I read accounts from you early-years types. That must have really been something.
You’re right though. Times have certainly changed. I’m not sure I’d like to have a flame war with a fellow conservative but maybe the whole - probably the whole atmosphere was very, very different then.
Thanks for your views.
