Glenn Beck says that Egypt-style chaos in the streets coming to the US soon

Glenn Beck says that Egypt-style chaos in the streets coming to the US soon. By now, many people know that Glenn Beck—along with some conservatives and libertarians—believes that the Egypt uprising is anything but a true people’s movement and a call for democracy. As he and even some Middle East experts see it, the uprising that led to Mubarak’s stepping down yesterday is all a front for the anti-American, non-secular and Islamist Muslim Brotherhood taking over in Egypt. Beck also thinks that the chaos in Egypt’s streets will be the inspiration for revolutions in other countries, with the last stop on the world revolutions list being the good old US of A. He also says that the coming revolution will be masterminded by communist and socialist groups that have been egged on by Egypt’s example.

I'm afraid the kind of violence and group rioting is going to be from consituents more in the flavor of Obama. When financial collapse becomes apparent, the dollar crashes, and no one buys our T-bills or securities, revenues will dry up because the value of taxes collected will be next to nothing.

Pretty much economic chaos throughout the country much worse than the depression. Only this go round, there is near a majority of leeches that don't have the moral character and fiber to work for what they need. They will riot, and they will loot, steal and kill those of whom they are jealous. The very last place I'd want to be is in an urban area in this country, ANY urban area - because they are controlled by liberals, progressives and minorities. And, the powers that be aren't going to do a damned thing to stop it.

Beck’s solution is non-violence because he thinks people in this country, the other side - our enemy are reasonable people and will follow the law and our wishes if we beat them at the ballot box. In fact, the opposite is true. The only way we will beat them is to fight them and win.

You are misunderstanding the chaos principle. It is not us that will be worked up into a frenzy, it is the college students, the minorities and the union workers who will be rioting in the streets, demanding their rights.

The college students want free college, free health insurance and your job. They want the baby boomers to retire and go on SS.

The Blacks, at least the lazy ones, want your life, they want your house and your community, if not specifically your house and community, they want us to make their community just like ours (but they want us to maintain it for them, too).

The union workers want power, power over you to force you to meet their demands.

I used to like Beck but seems as though his shelf life has expired.

Everyday it’s another dire prediction.

Beck didn’t say it was going to be ‘soon’, he said he didn’t know when, a week, a year 10 years...but it’s coming..

To all doubting Thomas’s out there.

Rush...the man that started it all has always said...

...”I’m absurd to illustrate an absurdity”...

After all radio and television is the ‘ENTERTAINMENT’ media. So what if Glen resorts to some drama?

FOX isn’t EWTN or the 700 club.

Some folks reaction to Beck are akin to the reaction to Jeremiah’s dark prophecies who stood in stark contrast to the feel good prognostications of the false prophets advising King Zedekiah. Jeremiah was thrust down into a pit because of them. Not long after, the Babylonians swarmed the city

Prove Beck wrong.

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” Barack Obama, 2008 campaign. You know, he neither said who ‘we’ is, nor did he specify the nation(s) the civilians would be in (presumably the US). Nor did he name the security objectives.

Research does show the age of ME/African leaders/dictators is older in comparison to the youth of the population, and so these countries are ripe fruit for change in governance. I posted a big map on yesterday’s Beck TV thread about this.....

“Inspire” is the name of al-Qaeda’s magazine.

Suggest reading up on the ‘Rapid Response Media’ section and the ‘Dialogue Cafe.’

May be innocuous, but with Riseup.net (See: https://help.riseup.net/about-us/political-principles/) & Movements.org, it’s not so clear. The Blaze & Big Peace have picked up the Red-Green Alliance story.

IMO, we are witnessing the increase of orchestrated, asymmetrical, cyber-warfare of the technical types we’ve trained here in the US. And major corporations like Google, etc., are in on it.

To say Beck is dead on about the ME is an understatement. I am in complete agreement with him. Expressing ‘I’ in Arabic is often done through a preposition, as though people are by-products of something bigger.

No one else in media with his venue is speaking on these topics. And Fox is OK with it. He must have serious legal counsel advising what he can and cannot say; hence, the Ghandi stance on TV.

He has the best security in the world, as he has said. That’s expensive and isn’t there for fluff.

I truly, truly disagree with his stance on the BC issue, though. And I wish he had more ‘fun’ stories like he did a ways back. But the man is a voice crying in the wilderness to those who will listen. He can make me cringe and feel at a loss about what to do, and I do want to do something. However, I believe our government is so infiltrated that this is going to take each of us to do our part, including our own research.

One final, rhetorical thought for consideration: would each of us be willing to go out with a poster of some kind or a handout at some public corner and stand alone to speak to this issue? I know, with the number of Muslims and mosques in this area, I would feel uncomfortable without like-minded others, and I have espoused these convictions about what would transpire in the ME for nearly 35 years—and was called nuts for it for much of that time.

So, prove Beck wrong.

You asked what we can do about it, how we can stop it.

I’m not sure that we can stop it, but we can do something to prepare for it. I’ve been giving this some thought and I have decided that we need to adopt Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals and use them against the left. We need to organize, just like the left does, using twitter and facebook and just plain email and text messaging. We need to find some tireless workers who care passionately about this country and get them out there working for us, starting in our own neighborhoods.

I’m a precinct captain in my neighborhood and I intend to start putting together an email list, walking the streets and collecting email addresses. I’ll see where to go, when I get the list compiled.

Index Mundi (commodity price charts)

Hungry, cold, under-educated, disaffected people get desperate. Prices everywhere, the US included, are not keeping up with what people can pay.

He talks out of both sides of his mouth. I understand him to say obama et al are out to destroy us but we are to do nothing about it except be passive.

Ok, let’s say obama gets his yutes riled up and they stage a massive protest. obama comes out and says he needs to listen to the ‘people’.

Problem is, since this is the progressive’s own set up, what the yutes want is for the great one to spread the wealth, institue obama care, etc. So obama gives in to the demands of the very people they organized to protest. And we do what? Sing kumbaya and go out and vote these criminals out of office? With elections rigged in the major leftist cities throughout the land?

Now Beck would have us not rise up against these people because that is supposedly what they want. We rise up, they impose martial law and obama says we have to listen to the yutes demands and we are a fringe sect, lock us up, maybe confiscate our guns. Now what? We are still in the same boat aren’t we. Obama institutes socialism either way.

My scenario, how about we rise up and win. I think the ploy of them wanting us to rise up is just raised to convince us that’s what they want so we won’t do it. I dare say, they do not want us to go to the streets and we really, really should.

I don’t want to remain silent and go quietly into the boxcars.

And Beck supposedly knows history. What he is telling his audience to do is just what the Jews did and look where they ended up.

In WA state, the Democrats are making their moves through the school system. They are removing any citizen oversight and recourse from the system, placing an appointed administrator above the superintendent of schools, turning all scholarships and grants over to a private foundation and putting the responsibility to raise college tuition on the college administrators, insulating the elected officials from the students and focusing the adversarial relationship on the school administrators, rather than on the elected legislators.

It gets worse, though. They plan to create a two tier education system, one for minorities and other under achievers and one for the rest of the students. They plan to essentially make 11 & 12 grades optional by putting the “at risk” students directly into union apprenticeships or other training programs (for SEIU jobs) at age 15 or 16, without any testing and without completing their high school education. If they complete the apprenticeship, they get a high school diploma and a union job.

Then for the rest of the students, those who actually graduate high school, there will be affirmative action scholarships given out by a private foundation because voters have banned the state from using affirmative action, and appropriate ethnic studies programs and on the job training instead of book work. They are already doing this in the UW law school.

What they are doing is creating a permanent underclass of young people who will be forever dependent on the government in one way or the other through their union jobs.

I know of several major urban school systems (K-12), that have ‘given’ ‘Islam’ classes for one full week, since at least 2002. Religious colleges (not to mention public) have hired profs to teach Islam. Can you imagine a Presbyterian or Lutheran college with such?

NEA & NEH gave out/are giving ‘Islamic’ or ‘cross-cultural’ understanding grants over this past year under specific outreach initiatives. There is a national debate at the collegiate level about what basic education, communications and history courses suffice for lower-level courses. At the end of last year, many colleges pulled their history ‘101’ and other such course plans. There were beaucoup history prof retirements. I get this from people inside executive collegiate governance committees.

I have respect for Beck (a la Van Jones), but I cannot listen to the guy on the radio!

At least once every show (when I do listen to him) there’s a dire prediction and warning that goes something like: “I…I…I’m begging you...I’m pleading with you...I…I beseech you, we are headed for catastrophe blah blah!” Then, 2 seconds later, Beck and his “Minnie Me” Stu begin talking in that stupid, animated voice. This show is just way too bi-polar for me. Oh, and this usually leads into one of those “Daily Bread” commercials!

I’m not saying we shouldn’t be paying attention to this; we indeed are; but his daily “we’re all doomed” crap is just getting tiresome and annoying!

The article, in my opinion, is a bit wrong. Glenn Beck supports ousting Dictators. But Glenn Beck is critical thinking. He put on his thinking cap years ago and has been sounding the warning of Islamic Extremism. As such he is saying that there are plenty of bad people out there, as we all SHOULD know, but the media and Democrats are glossing over that. So Beck is saying radicals are infiltrating the movement, organizing some of the protesters, wanting to take over. And planning to take over the country. It is there plan to do what is know as caliphate the world with Islam. They are also doing it online and thus some of those people used the web to organize.
