With five bodies barely cold in Arizona after a madman went on a killing rampage yesterday, hateful liberals are screaming for the death of Sarah Palin. Palin, the Republican Vice Presidential candidate in 2008, has been in the limelight since her rise to nation-wide fame. Angry liberals are now blaming her for assassin Jared Loughner's rampage yesterday, and some are even calling for her death.
And no, there was not just one insane person on one insane website, but many cases of wackos calling for the death of Sarah Palin. Like this one from a commenter on TMZ:

I have yet to see any mention of Sarah Palin, Conservatives, or the Republican party on any of the Jared Loughner bizarre web rants. Like the Virginia Tech shooter, he was a nutcase that was allowed to roam free despite many warning signs,
Don't respond to them, don't engage them, and don't encourage them. Attention is what they're after, and if denied it, they will eventually have to find some other méme.
Rising to the bait they are currently crapping out of their mouths would be our worst mistake yet. Let 'em scream and rant and snivel and make threats. They only paint themselves as imbeciles by so doing. It's a no-win game if you participate, and it's a game we cannot lose if we simply do not play.
Let it be, and laugh up your sleeve at these morons. They are losing the battle of public opinion with this crap, and we should stand aside and let them self-destruct over this.

They NEED anger and violence in order to play the victim or "rational" card. This is why they keep claiming we're full of hate and anger. They desperately need it! They're trying to make it a reality.

I think they are trying to get her out of the running with this over the top insanity - before she has protection, because they understand they must behave from then on.

We need to push back. Loudly and firmly. They’ve gone over the line, and we need to say so.
The “dignified silence” thing won’t work now any more than it did for President Bush.
Sarah doesn’t have to run for president in 2012 to make a difference to the conservative movement. I mean look at what she accomplished as an outsider in 2010.
I support Sarah 100%, but I think her safety and her family are more important.
A major lawsuit against the news outlets that are slandering her might shut them up. They have no proof that she had anything to do with this, and she in no way influenced or led the massacre. Why not sue the networks for $500 million, as a start. If she wants to play it safe, she can start with a lawsuit against the british press... as they have strict libel laws.

I agree, but I’m afraid that is going to be VERY difficult. They have been waiting with baited breath for just such an excuse to call for everything from the “Fairness Doctrine” to banning guns to further demonizing the Tea Party. It doesn’t matter anymore that their arguments have no basis in reality. They’ve gone around the bend into full-blown lunacy. In fact, a lefty friend contacted me yesterday (after not speaking to me for a couple of months) and accused me, as a Tea Party member, of “having blood on my hands.” We will not be speaking again, after a 25-year friendship. He has gone beyond any chance of rationality, if there was any before. It will be a pleasure to hear Beck, Rush, Hannity and Levin tomorrow deconstruct all of this madness but I’m afraid this is only the beginning of terrible things to come. If and when we manage to repeal the abominable Obamacare, the Left will be truly dangerously deranged.
