I propose that they pass a bill to remove funding and then DEEM repeal to have passed.
People seem to forget that the House NEVER voted on Obamacare.
Pelosi DEEMed it to have passed when the House passed a set of changes to their original bill that was NEVER voted on.
I thought it was so good it deserved it's own discussion
most forget.....the “deeming” part. Seems to me that that in itself is unconstitutional.
They voted....219 to 212...They did NOT use deem and pass.
I’m still wondering where Pelosi’s pay-as-you-go initiative went.
Why deem it repealed when they can actually repeal.
Don’t confuse them with the facts.
They did NOT use deem and pass. It was talked about but never used.
Yes KenD, brilliant!
I seem to recall the house voting.
Besides Deem and Pass was one of the democrat tactics that American’s really objected too. If it wasn’t for the democrat bribes, arm twisting and dirty tactics, I’m not sure we would have had nearly the success at the last election that we had.
Acting like democrats did is a sure way to turn the house back over to them in 2 more years.
I know they didnt actuall do it- but they sure as hell wanted to, and would have if not for the media spotlight
(GOD BLESS FOX NEWS)
In the olden days they would have gotten away witrh it, and ABCBSPMSNBCNNMSNBC would have let them
