Palin to Krauthammer: I’m sorry I’m not hoity toity enough for ya!
therightscoop ^ | Thursday December 15, 2010

Sarah Palin never apologizes for what some attribute to her as weaknesses. Krauthammer recently criticized her as not looking very presidential because of her shows and books. But she makes it clear that she brings a different game than what some are accustomed to, and win or lose that’s what she’s going to stick with. She’s going rogue!

It’s a great interview all the way through. Enjoy!

its sad when someone has to take voice lessons to be more attractive as a political leader rather than Sarah Palin just being who she is.

that would seem superficial and shallow.. but maybe im wrong..

Study-up. "Bless his heart" was smack down enough, and BigTigerMike, used Right Scoop's TITLE, Palin to Krauthammer: I’m sorry I’m not hoity toity enough for ya!, so advise you to pitch your complaints to those folks at Right Scoop...LOL.

You should know by now, that titles are posted here without changes, although you love to add your *editorial* comment.

WOO-HOO! GO SARAH!

I didn't hear her use "who it is" a single time in this interview. I pray that somebody got to her. I know it's a colloquial phrase and she no doubt has been using it all of her life. That makes it hard to change.

I guess her colloquialisms and her accent didn't hamper her rise through Alaska politics, but it's definitely something of an impediment now.

It's not a deal-breaker for her staunch supporters, who hear the content of her words louder than how she says them, but her vocal delivery could keep some Americans from ever hearing what she's trying to say to them.

I think Sarah's sharper than the average tack, and has already figured this out. She's usually a few pages ahead of the rest of the class. I expect her vocal delivery to mysteriously smooth out a lot over the next year or so.

At least she handled O’Reilly this time. She didn’t let him talk over her. She’s learning.

Do you think it was "superficial and shallow" for Lady Thatcher to do it?

I'm staking claim to the following phrase as my own invention:

"Que Sarah, Sarah."

Cheers!

If she starts talking low, and slow, men will swoon.

If she loses the glasses and the bangs—it’s game over.

are you serious ? im pretty sure she would have been PM either way.

I don’t think it is right to change yourself into something your not. I would lose respect for Sarah Palin if she tries to convert her accent into New York tongue to appease the east coast left. they are the only ones that care about such shallow things

Oh man, she'd better not start with that. Men all over the country would be in trouble with their wives .. LOL

If she loses the glasses and the bangs—it’s game over.

Only Todd Palin gets to see that Sarah, and it's a good thing, too. She is stunningly gorgeous without the glasses. I don't think any normal male could hope to debate her, if he had to look into that face. He'd melt in spite of himself, and lose miserably.

It could be you are just spoiling for intellectual argument so you are making somewhat provocative statements hoping to stir the pot.

Not at all. It's just that even a great deal of what is considered conservative today, is just 40 year old liberalism now taken for granted.

That's actually where my screen name comes from. "Triumphant values" is a term in Marxism, that states that eventually a society will be so infected with leftism, that even that which is proposed as a conservative solution, will have elements of liberalism in it.

It's a part of their linear view of history, that supposes that at that point, socialist victory is inevitable.

And I've seen it with my own eyes. Like "workfare", of the 90s (which has actually exacerbated the single mother problem).

My focus of conservatism is way more cultural than economic also, by the way. High tax rates and regulations can hurt an economy, but 30% illegitimacy, 50% divorce rates and unchecked immigration can destroy a civilization.

In my view, no amount of tax cutting can ever make up for a no-fault divorce law and an immigration amnesty.

Have you read Going Rogue and/or America by Heart?

No, do they address any of the issues I've posted here? And have you read any Thomas Carlyle?

Heck, I read the title and that was good enough for me to comment (it ain't a world shattering thing) and poor little "pisserette" called me over here with his panties all in a bunch after having gotten his panties all in a bunch on another thread we were on.
So I figured, what the heck, start laughing at him again. My motto about dealing with "Pisserette" is "When in doubt, laugh at him" ;^)
