Here is video of Louisiana GOP Gov. Bobby Jindal telling MSNBCs Chris Matthews that he has no intentions of running for President in 2012. Jindal was unequivocal in his declaration that he will not seek the Presidency in the coming election cycle, but will instead run for re-election as Governor of Louisiana. Matthews had speculated that Jindals new book signaled he intended to make a run for the GOP Nomination.

It is doubtful Jindal is a citizen.he was conceived in India...his parents were not citizens when he was born in the US. If there are doubts is a citizen..he cannot possibly be a natural born citizen.
The 14th Amendment gives Jindal citizenship..if his parents were not citizens of India.
A natural born citizen is limited to the descendants of the original citizens after the ratification of the Constitution.

Forgetting Jindal for the moment. If this sentence truely reflects your view then it follows that you wouldn’t regard any child of naturalized citizens as an NBC. Is that true? That goes way beyond the “NBC requires 2 citizen parents” theory.
What about the descendants of slaves?
Tricky one: Those formerly in slavery at the time of the 14th Amendment's Ratification, and the 15th's, were made citizens. Their offspring and descendants were and are "Natural Born Citizens."
IOW, Those formerly in slavery themselves were not "Natural Born Citizens," but made citizens by law.

How, when, or why, the parents became American citizens is irrelevant. Whether native citizens, naturalized citizens, or natural born themselves, if both parents are American Citizens, their offspring are "Natural Born Citizens.
For example, IMHO although our sitting POTUS is not a Natural Born Citizen himself, his children are.
That is, if he is a citizen at all, he is either a "Native," citizen, or a naturalized citizen. Team Obama has spent millions to confuse the words "Native," and "Natural." It has worked for them, hence all the nonsense about "born in Hawaii."

According to the Supreme Court in Kim Wong Ark, 1890s decision - and you know all this, or should - Jindhal is a US citizen, as he was born in the U.S. to legal U.S. residents. That *is* the law of the land in the United States for over 100 years. Stop perverting the law to suit your political grandstanding.

This is a point in dispute. One might also say, perhaps more correctly, that Jindal became a US Citizen when his parents did, in other words he, and his parents are naturalized citizens.
Key to the dispute is the interpretation of the word "jurisdiction." Is a person born to foreign citizens under US jurisdiction? IOW, can one country take citizens out of their native land's jurisdiction? "Yes," is the answer. When those from the foreign jurisdiction become American citizens, not before. See the Oath of Citizenship.
The pernicious practice of granting automatic citizenship all those born here is generous, but quite wrong-minded custom.
Bobby is a pretty good governor, a terrible public speaker, and a bit timid, other than that, he is just as good a citizen as I, except that I am a "Natural Born Citizen," and he is not.

The sad truth of the matter is that most Hawaiians of a certain age probably got ye olde Hawaiian BC by having a resident relative swear that they, little Fong Yu, had been born in their home at 1313 Blueview Terrace, in Hana, with no medical personnel in attendance. In all likelihood, little Fong Yu was already 5 years old and had been born in the Phillipines, Hong Kong, Tokyo, or Cambodia.
Now on the other hand, a Honolulu Dog License from that era actually might mean something!

Not by normal people. The law in the US is clear and it is written into US code and our Constitution, and the Supreme Court has ruled on it. Born in the US makes you a citizen at birth.
You are arguing against Supreme Court precedent set 120 years ago!

Like it or not, it is not merely a custom, but the law. You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
And btw, Jindhal blows away Obama (without his teleprompter) as a public speaker.
