Looking at the 3 photos, it appears to me to be gasses of some sort. Most interesting!

As for the distance and speed of these phenomena, I doubt they are two years away, more data is required by the astronomers.

The length of the "flying saucers" is in the range of tens of kilometers. Landing, according to calculations of scientists, should be in mid-December 2012. Date coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar.

Uh, yah.

Ten km length means a natural object -- unless it's a colony ship, egad! If they're cylindrical, then they are third stages from Apollo returning (again) and are NOT ten km.

The only search hit I saw on Craig Kasnov that wasn't about these supposed UFOs was about the origin of SETI@home. :') To say I'm a little leery about accepting this, particularly since he's mostly described as "SETI Astrophysicist Craig Kasnov" and that someone has linked this to the Mayan calendar. :')
