Palin’s conservative fans need to reassess her “victories”
Seeing Red AZ ^ | 2010-08-26

The Hill runs a report crediting Sarah Palin for her many Republic primary victories. Before conservatives take too much pleasure in such news, read how she is credited with helping sweep John McCain to victory. Palin traveled to Arizona and made numerous campaign appearances with McCain, bringing him the Tea Party creds he so desperately needed to undercut the fact that he is a nearly three-decades-long, left-leaning Washington insider.

That Palin chose to conveniently back McCain over conservative former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth is a truth that should not soon be forgotten. Her help, McCain’s falsely running to the right, taking positions adverse to his established ones and $21 million dollars in attack ads did the trick.

Sarah Palin is all about expediency. She is no conservative.

As for calling people LIARS, you take the cake, yet whine when it’s fired back at you:

Pissant: But your opinion does not matter. Duncan D and Gunny Pop did not support Fiorina over DeVore.

Caluvdubya: Okay...They say they hope Fiorina beats Boxer but they support DeVore....right...got it. You need a break from FR.

Pissant: You need to quit lying. When I talked to Gunny Pop within days of those oringinal posts, he told me he supported DeVore, and was hopeful they would campaign together. WHich they did.

Caluvdubya: Riiight. Liar.

Pissant: Uh huh

You pull selective posts and omit the negative posts where you outright called me a liar...several time

I'll put my posting history up against yours in the name calling dept. any day.

I've explained this thing to you for approx. 6 months now and I'm done with your ignorance.

I've never called for help before today but you are so over the top and bring this to every thread, that from now on, I'll just hit abuse.

Selective quotes? LOL. My last post was verbatim. Yet, you re-iterated this phony belief that Gunny and Duncan D. supported FioRINO over DeVore.

Reassess this, asshole.

What is striking is that you're attacking a good conservative in order to prop up one of the biggest RINO's that ever lived.

Best thing both of you can do for the country is to keel over.

Anybody who does NOT think our creditors are as invested in our politicians as they are in our markets...is on wacky-weed.

In fact THEY control our politicians far more than We the People. And is why we have been told we have a “ruling class” that represents our creditors interests above and beyond those of the people.

The bankers always invest in creating a controllable aristocracy. Took ‘em 234 years to get there in the USA

Look at it this way. If McCain has truly been converted to a conservative then Palin will shine. If he goes back to his RINO maverick ways it will be a curse on her, although the RINOs wont care as they think conservatives are stupid. She owns McCain's actions now after saving him. Let's hope she isn't the Daughter of Dr Frankenstein that revived the RINO monster she can't control. Time will tell.

Historically McCain is a dishonest phony as much as Obama.

Aslan: "Justice shall be mixed with mercy. You shall not always be an Ass."

At this of course, the Donkey (Rabadash) twitched its ears forward - and that also was so funny that everybody laughed all the more. They tried not to, but they tried in vain.

The thread is proof that Rabadash is being laughed at on FR. We can only wish he will not always be an Ass........

Cheers back for a great day!

If she couldn't hack a post as Governor of a state, what makes you think she can hack it as President of all fifty states?

She was doing fine as governor (near 70+% approval) until the leftist media got a hold of her.

Stepping down as governor was the best choice since she couldn't serve her state with all the bullsh*t being thrown at her constantly.

Once she's POTUS she'll flick off the vermin on the left like fleas. I bet there are a lot of talented, capable people ready and waiting to serve in a Palin administration.

I am more concerned for her support for Cap and Trade and the Law of the Sea Treaty as Governor and TARP as a VP candidate, than I am her support for McCain. A McCain conversion will do nothing to lessen those concerns.

That's not fair. Sometimes she supports it, sometimes she opposes it.

You have to get into the system to change it. Also, political favors and paybacks are as old as politics and you aren’t going to change it now.

She owed McCain big time and proved that she would reliably repay political favors.

Like the "Bridge to Nowhere" she was for it before she was against it. :-) I actually like her and think that she has a ton of charisma, but do not see her as a suitable conservative leader. As a media figure she is doung a good job of getting under the left's skin and I would like to see her continue in that role. She is just not ideologically consistent enough for me to take her seriously as the leader of the conservative movement. The fact that she is so inconsistent, yet gets a pass on this from so many conservatives, worries me a lot.

Wow. What a lengthy screed. You even threw in some of my responses to you. I almost feel honored.

First off, toots, 9 out of 10 exchanges I've had with you start with you jumping in to rudely gnaw on my ankles when I'm talking to others.

Heh...you post in the forum to someone and consider it a private conversation? What do I need - a written invitation, or permission to post to you? LOL

Use freepmail, if you want privacy. Anything posted in the forum is fair game, and you know it.

And if you're tired of getting your ankles bitten, maybe you ought to get your head out from between them. That's what everyone's aiming at. Those aren't bites, by the way. They're boot marks.

If you don't like being called those 'mean' names, and prefer intellectual conversations, then maybe you shouldn't start off posting crap like this to me and others who don't subscribe to your cult

Oh, did I accuse you of calling people "mean names"? No, I actually didn't. What I said, is that you launch in to making ad hominem attacks, the minute anyone challenges your filthy gutter trash maunderings.

That's your modus operandi, and everyone knows it. You come on this forum and dump your trash, then start yelping like a rabid animal when anyone protests your vandalism.

Exactly what kind of commentary are you expecting to get, when you purposely go out of your way to attack the leading conservative personality in the country, on a conservative forum? I hope you're not expecting some kind of actual discussion, when the things you post are nothing more than thinly veiled attacks on Gov. Palin.

Oh....wait....we're supposed to remain seated, and politely extend you every civil courtesy while you do your 'performance art' on Jim Rob's stage. I get it.

Screw that. You keep talking like a gutter trash liberal, and I'm gonna keep exposing you for what you are.

.. not once have I heard her say ‘um’ or ‘ah.’ She knows what she wants to say and says it clearly, without stumbling or stammering.

It's interesting how clearly and smoothly a person speaks when they're coming straight from the heart, and telling the truth as they know it, isn't it?

Tells you quite a lot about that person.
