Ted Nugent: It is us; We're the ones who allowed anti-Americans to take over America

Barack Hussein Obama did not sneak into power. An army of clueless, disconnected, ignorant Americans invited him to bring his Marxist, glaringly anti-American jihad into our lives. This president's overtly destructive, clear-and-present-danger agenda is surpassed in transparency only by his ultra-leftist public voting record and overall lifetime conduct of consorting with the enemy as a child and student of Marxism, socialist and racist community organizer, congregant of the blatant America-hating black-theology- and social-justice-spewing Rev. Jeremiah Wright and close personal friend of convicted communist terrorists like Bill Ayers, and by his unflinching appointment of an array of communist czars, including Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunne, et al. So let me get this straight: You claim your intentions were noble because you simply wanted to get your child a puppy but somehow didn't notice that it was foaming at the mouth, and now you're shocked that your child has rabies? I think not. That is not a mistake. It is negligence -- dangerous, life threatening and, I am convinced, downright criminal negligence.
And the price for such negligence is catastrophic, don't you know.
But it gets worse. For, you see, the blame doesn't fall just on the obvious stupidity of our friends and families who voted for this corrupt, death-wish government in whose stranglehold we find ourselves. Ultimately, it is our fault. It is the failure of those of us who know better but have failed miserably to educate our own. Living our lives with a captive audience of family, friends, co-workers, socialites, fellow worshippers at church and other parents at school...

Ted is right on target! We have let it all happen! As one of our early founders said: “For the greedy wicked and evil to gain control, let the good & righteous do nothing.”

The following has been widely circulated for some time now by email, etc. Said to have been a letter to the editor found in a European newspaper. Sorta hits the old nail on the head, doesn't it! Myself, I would refer to these "multitude of fools" as simply... AINO ~ Americans In Name Only! ***** A mere symptom of what ails America... Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do. The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

oh well, 20 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago, hell even today when ya mention priciples and basic Constitutional Republican ideals, most, even around here, insist on 'compromise' and treat ya like a radical...
educating spoiled brat people that are basically retarded and fearful of 'change' [to the FReedom and responsibility of the founding] is impossible with the demographics and entitlement mentality of 80 + yrs of 'progress'ivism...
sadly most are so entrenched in this that even as the house burns down around them, theyll not be convinced, but thats what itll take for the ones who do wake up...
only question i can see is , how much of the slate must be wiped clean to regain the system we *should* be using...

Ted missed the GOP and McCain.. Offering up him did NO help to the cause. Obama was beatable.I'm not so sure I agree...If Biggie O was so beatable, Hillary would have accomplished it and won the nomination.
We can't hold a candle to the dirty tricks and bribery the Clintons can pull out. If they couldn't beat the Evil One, what chance did we have?

I have been saying this all along. People who blame Barry or think he is the modern re-incarnation of the anti-christ have got it exactly backwards.
Hussein is merely a symptom, not a cause. The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.
If looters are allowed to vote, eventually the only voters remaining will be looters. All wealth generators will have either moved, ceased their activities, or gone underground.

+100 See my #90.
The people still pining for an electoral solution do not understand the underlying factors. The looters have an electoral majority.
The most important thing USA 2.0 could possibly do is severely restrict the franchise to (net) taxpayers & military personnel.

Know your neighbors. I take those with real conservative values with me on election day to vote.
Liberal Socialist Democrats are no longer just "democrat" friends with different opinions as to how they want the nation they love governed .
They are IMO my countries enemy. No less than terrorists or a enemy nations standing army. Incremental destruction of our nation is almost if not already beyond repair / recovery.
... Fight em in your neighborhood with disrespect, insults, an isolation. Peer pressure at the very least is what I do.........for now.
I will not hire a democrat. I will fire democrats when they are discovered. I will not spend my cash “if at all possible” that I know a democrat will profit from initially or as an end user.
I vote as stated at the ballot box and cash register. Folks need to get medieval on their local socialist rats and money sources as individuals or groups.
Only my opinion and what I do.
Stay safe !

They do indeed, you get sneered at as a '1-percenter', REAL conservatives are mocked and ridiculed, and made the butt of jokes, DU-style.
educating spoiled brat people that are basically retarded and fearful of 'change' [to the FReedom and responsibility of the founding] is impossible with the demographics and entitlement mentality of 80 + yrs of 'progress'ivism...
The spoiled brats with their hands out for the government goodies of the day need to be cut off cold turkey. Our society and culture have become addicted to the overbearing 'generosity' of our federal masters.
sadly most are so entrenched in this that even as the house burns down around them, they'll not be convinced, but thats what it'll take for the ones who do wake up...
As they burn up into crispy critters they'll be whining and wailing about "why didn't the goobermint send us FIREFIGHTERS?!?"
only question i can see is , how much of the slate must be wiped clean to regain the system we *should* be using...
All of it.
Excellent points Gilbo, you hit the nail on the head.

When Bush spent a couple of days trying to get a fix for Social Security, there was widespread fear-mongering and ridicule.
There’s your answer.
I think some educating needs to be done. We need to address the issues before folks can be expected to turn around. Do we see anyone of note doing that educating?
There are some folks on FoxNews doing a pretty good job. Are enough people watching? I doubt it.
We need a party in the U.S. that heralds the truth. Sadly, today’s Republican party isn’t it. It’s candidates are too timid. Heck, even if they weren’t, they don’t get it either.
The Tea Party is a nice uprising, but I remain unconvinced that it will amount to anything in the long run. I could be wrong and I wish it well, but we’ll see...

We never get 100% turnout from all eligible voters. The ones who proclaimed that they would stay home because they wouldn't vote for McCain are just as culpable as the Obama voters.
