Ted Nugent: It is us; We're the ones who allowed anti-Americans to take over America
The Washington Times ^ | July 30, 2010 | Ted Nugent

Posted on 08/08/2010 9:28:03 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Barack Hussein Obama did not sneak into power. An army of clueless, disconnected, ignorant Americans invited him to bring his Marxist, glaringly anti-American jihad into our lives. This president's overtly destructive, clear-and-present-danger agenda is surpassed in transparency only by his ultra-leftist public voting record and overall lifetime conduct of consorting with the enemy as a child and student of Marxism, socialist and racist community organizer, congregant of the blatant America-hating black-theology- and social-justice-spewing Rev. Jeremiah Wright and close personal friend of convicted communist terrorists like Bill Ayers, and by his unflinching appointment of an array of communist czars, including Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunne, et al. So let me get this straight: You claim your intentions were noble because you simply wanted to get your child a puppy but somehow didn't notice that it was foaming at the mouth, and now you're shocked that your child has rabies? I think not. That is not a mistake. It is negligence -- dangerous, life threatening and, I am convinced, downright criminal negligence.

And the price for such negligence is catastrophic, don't you know.

But it gets worse. For, you see, the blame doesn't fall just on the obvious stupidity of our friends and families who voted for this corrupt, death-wish government in whose stranglehold we find ourselves. Ultimately, it is our fault. It is the failure of those of us who know better but have failed miserably to educate our own. Living our lives with a captive audience of family, friends, co-workers, socialites, fellow worshippers at church and other parents at school...

I did everything possible to try to convince my long time Democrat mom that she was NOT electing a black JFK or Truman, and she rejected everything I said and every article I sent her, most printed from FR. Hope she enjoys Obamacare.

... close personal friend of convicted communist terrorists like Bill Ayers ...

Correction: Bill Ayers was never convicted due to Fourth Amendment violations by the FBI during the investigation. However, Ayers is indeed a communist and a terrorist. He is completely unrepentant about bombing the Pentagon and, with his wife (fellow Weathermen leader Bernardine Dohrn), he remembers his days as a terrorist quite fondly, but he was never convicted.

(I think Dohrn served nine months on a contempt charge for refusing to testify.)

So instead of saying that Ayers was convicted, one could say that he's a man of his convictions. But other than that, yeah, I don't see any inaccuracies in Brother Ted's article.

Ultimately, it is our fault. It is the failure of those of us who know better but have failed miserably to educate our own.

Wrong.

The scumbags who vote for democrats can't be educated.

That why the Founders specifically warned against giving them the franchise.

The marxists in the White House and in Congress are a direct result of 4 Constitutional amendments and Motor Voter.

The final nail will be giving the franchise to 20 million illegal alien felons to vote even more marxists into power.

This doesn't get solved at the ballot box.

Only taxpayers and veterans vote, in the next Republic.

Too late for this one, its gone, just taking a while to die.

Can we outvote the pimps, whores and welfare brats? Will we be smart enough to put every politician to the Pelosi-Obama litmus test? We will be smart enough never to let a Mao Zedong fan club in the White House ever again?

BOOKMARKED!

I have long maintained that the 17th Amendment allowed the perversion of our constitution.

I have another argument on the matter ... we can kill it.

IMO a larger problem will be changing the political culture that recruits and rewards these scoundrels on BOTH sides of the fence.

Good people shy away from such corruption. Mostly what is left are the self-serving greaseball personalities we have now.

I think most American voters (on top of being narcistic and ignorant) are sick of being continually fooled by a-hole politicians and give up voting all together or blindly vote along party lines.

The people that can change this culture will never enact or enforce laws to govern their behavior; and the voters are like deer in headlights. Not sure we will ever see a change.

It will always be a battle.

This article should be hand delivered to every member of Congress and special attention to the GOP.

Then to Rush, Levin, Beck, Hannity to read it on air.

Ted missed the GOP and McCain.. Offering up him did NO help to the cause. Obama was beatable. The old fart could have beat him, but he cuddled up to him, avoided the things that could have sunk Obama (his ties to radicals) called him a good president and planted his lips where only toilet paper should go.

Yes, we all share the blame to a point. But I told anyone who would listen Obama is not the hope and change he wants you to think he is. McCain just undercut what I was saying.

Let's not forget that our efforts during this election were largely directed at ourselves, like in a circular firing squad.

I do not know how many threads I saw on this website alone with people attacking each other for not being conservative enough. This holier than thou attitude was not helpful.

Republicans seem to come in two major groups, social or fiscal conservatives. Manny are both, but not all.

Maybe we should try to win an election before we start running people off.
