Barack Hussein Obama did not sneak into power. An army of clueless, disconnected, ignorant Americans invited him to bring his Marxist, glaringly anti-American jihad into our lives. This president's overtly destructive, clear-and-present-danger agenda is surpassed in transparency only by his ultra-leftist public voting record and overall lifetime conduct of consorting with the enemy as a child and student of Marxism, socialist and racist community organizer, congregant of the blatant America-hating black-theology- and social-justice-spewing Rev. Jeremiah Wright and close personal friend of convicted communist terrorists like Bill Ayers, and by his unflinching appointment of an array of communist czars, including Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunne, et al. So let me get this straight: You claim your intentions were noble because you simply wanted to get your child a puppy but somehow didn't notice that it was foaming at the mouth, and now you're shocked that your child has rabies? I think not. That is not a mistake. It is negligence -- dangerous, life threatening and, I am convinced, downright criminal negligence.
And the price for such negligence is catastrophic, don't you know.
But it gets worse. For, you see, the blame doesn't fall just on the obvious stupidity of our friends and families who voted for this corrupt, death-wish government in whose stranglehold we find ourselves. Ultimately, it is our fault. It is the failure of those of us who know better but have failed miserably to educate our own. Living our lives with a captive audience of family, friends, co-workers, socialites, fellow worshippers at church and other parents at school...

It is all a game but a game that the voters are tired of - hopefully enough are. McCain had no fire in the belly INTENTIONALLY! He has it for Conservative JD, however.
Not rocket science to figure out - let’s hope that enough of the clueless wake up!
Yeah, illegal aliens by the tens of millions have entered the country in mass, ramping up during the past 20 years...The Bush Administration rolled out the red carpet for millions of illegals, and publicly aided and abetted this violent invasion for 8 years. All while calling those Americans that had belly full, "Vigilantes".
An army of clueless, disconnected, ignorant Americans invited him
Many forget....Due to this epic, coast to coast historical country killing invasion, our electoral process has been undermined and compromised...
It's astonishing to me that I ever found the truth because the facts around me were and are so twisted. I have the time and have pursued the truth myself or I perhaps would have made the same judgments.
Ted’s right, but the real reason Obama is President is, that John McCain was the single worst candidate the GOP could have run.
The worst.
He’s uninspiring to younger Americans. He pisses off conservatives. He wouldn’t take on his opponent (seems far more hostile to JD Hayworth, than he did to Obama)
Obama didn’t so much win. McCain threw the race. Almost deliberately, it seemed.
McCain was a flop. A disaster. Of historic proportion.
That’s what happened.
McCain happened!
(though he did get the Sarah Palin nomination, right)
Otherwise, he’s a complete loss. And is why, Obama is President.
McCain put Obama there.
To our utter stupidity we still are trusting of the media and will continue to be so up to the day the media is officially re-named Pravda.
God shoulda told us that he changed policy somewhere down the line.
I agree with you. Sometimes the mentally ill can’t be educated.
I have been banished from all family gatherings because of my strife with some of my pitiful, childish, Obama voting, gimee relatives who, with whole conviction, blame Regan or Bush for everyday problems they bring on themselves. You cannot convince people who hold these delusions that they actually hold the keys to their own destiny (at least once upon a time), good or ill, in this country.
The candidate has no power that isn't first given by the voters. A company's strength is what its customers are willing to pay for. Don't blame the GOP when the customers (us) say what we want through votes. They will gladly accept any candidate that wins us (the voters and donors) over.
The Founders understood that MOST PEOPLE ARE STUPID and easily manipulated and therefore left it up to the State governments to decide who got to vote.
Teenagers under 21, women that were not land owners, the poor who did not pay taxes, and imbeciles stayed home on election day.
They understood that if those groups voted, the Republic could not endure.
Too late, the horses be out the barn.
Now that is some fracked up tagging.
As someone who lived through the tragedy of Carter, I’ve come to the conclusion that every generation must learn, the hard way, how devastating and destructive leftist rule can be.
It seems brutal reality is the only way to cut through the Gay-Run media and Hollywood propoganda.
And Carter was a joke compared to Obama and this crowd of Socialists, Marxists, and racists now occupying the White House and Congress.
I know so many people who thought they were voting for someone like
IMHO, Carter distracts from the Left’s real villain of that generation- LBJ. Carter sucked beyond mention, but LBJ left far deeper scars, much of which the left tries to cover up now.
btt
Actually, what I was trying to say was that I know so many people who thought Obama was really President Bartlett, the guy from NBC’s “The West Wing”.
And that is how he was sold.
Now, we reap the rewards of voter apathy and stupidity. Many Americans, but not all, have learned the hard way that ELECTIONS REALLY DO HAVE CONSEQUENCES.
Sadly, that will only last about another generation.
There are several of them on FR and I blame them as much as I blame the “uneducated, history-devoid, denial-riddled, fantasy-driven, anti-gun and anti-hunting, anti-capitalism general ignoramuses” who voted for the SoB in the WH.
Decades of “forced tolerance of the unacceptable through suppression of instinctive response”, primarily in the workplace by fear of being sued, Attorneys, and the ACLU are the main culprits.
Ha. Obama is but the latest nail in the coffin. It is our failure to stop the corruption of our institutions that has brought us here.
I don’t believe that Obama is necessarily the problem.
While he has caused a lot of damage, the real problem as to why we are so close to the brink of transformation is more like a slow motion trainwreck over decades of usurpations and abuse of power, much of which happened before I was ever born. If it had not been Obama pushing the evelope this time, it would be someone else some other time.
When people went out and voted, our economy was collapsing and there was sort of a mob mentality in our political system like I have never before witnessed. People were anxious and some frightened, and the best our leaders could come up with was Henry Paulson going out and begging to bailout the banks. Where was GW? And why was McCain out glossing over the troubles as if there was no real problem? They did nothing to assuage anxieties and fear, but Obama did, even if it was with nothing but lies.
To point the finger of blame at every conservative for not being able to persuade mobs of frantic people is pathetic. Ted Nugent, of all people who could have had a platform was not out there kicking McCain out of the way, but was as silent about the chaos as GW. Those who had the capability to do something constructive to calm the public ran and hid with everyone else.
Even after the election Republicans were errily silent. They had to be whipped into opposition by those average folks who had the courage to band together to oppose the tyranny. Where were our leaders??
