According to the Politico's Maggie Haberman, US Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) has married Huma Abedin, a former aide to Hillary Clinton and a Muslim. The wedding occurred on July 10th on Long Island, NY. The short article states the wedding was officiated by Bill Clinton.
This should be interesting. One wonders if the Jewish population of Weiner's Brooklyn and Queens district knows of this and if how they will react. Weiner is up for re-election this coming November.
Thomas Lifson adds: According to Jewish law, only children of Jewish mothers are regarded as Jewish. Should the happy couple have children, will Rep. Weiner be the father of Muslim children?

Wow, the couple of the year.
If Hillary finds herself at a dead-end in politics, maybe she could consider a new career as a yenta.
Finding a beard for "Tough Tony" and a husband for the woman with whom Hillary has been accused of being "romantically invoved" was quite a feat--even without mentioning the religion angle.

It seems then that the power of the office does rule out over looks for both Billy Jeff and Hillary. All these years, the stories of the women literally dropping everything in order to provide him *comfort*, I simply could never see the attraction. Chunky Hillary is getting *comfort* from this good-looking honey? Maybe the stories are true after all, maybe Hillary has been learning from the master! ;)
