Our system of justice is not always perfect, I admit, and it’s been perverted in many cases, but until changes are made within the system, it’s what we have to work with. Holder refusing to charge those men is an example of such perversion and abuse of power.

To be slander/defamation it has to be intentionally malicious because Al Gore is a public figure. Because he is a political figure, you can pretty much say anything you want about him without fear. Besides, there is some evidence that the allegations are true.

If these allegations are not true, that would make them malicious, would you not agree? I guess we’ll see if this evidence is credible when and if they press charges. Believe me, I agree it would be wonderful to see Gore convicted of something and sometimes it’s not what we expect them to take the fall for, so who knows if this will be what brings him down?

I don't know if Rush thinks Algore is guilty and I don't know if this whole thread is a joke.
I do know Algore is a reprehensible fool, an unrepentant preacher of lies and an enemy of America (and of all humanity, actually).
I fervently hope he gets publicly neutered (in a figurative sense) and becomes an object of derision for decades to come, be it in a court of law, or in the court of public opinion.
I am sure that many of us enjoy seeing big Al squirm, but from what I have seen of the police report, the woman’s story doesn’t quite pass the smell test. I am reserving judgement pending the results of the investigation.
