Houston's got a Five Guys, and we've got the best of the South (What-A-burger). If they're building the processing facility in Dallas, then restaurants could be in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas easy enough.
Now - we just need Fatburger!
Fletch DOES live!
In-N-Out Burger might be the best thing to come out of California. It ranks right up there with Rubio’s fish tacos.
NOW I can move to Dallas!
In-n-Out is one of the biggest holds So Cal has on me. I can give up Tommy’s burgers (but just barely).
What A Burger is great, from what I remember (last had one 25 years ago). In N Out is great. You’ll love having them there.
“Now - we just need Fatburger!”
The Big Fat Deal will get you through anything...
Went to my first 5 Guys the other day (here in Richmond, VA).
It sucked. Not even as good as Carls Jr./Hardee’s (much less In ‘n Out) and extremely expensive.
Gag.. With places in Dallas like Jucy’s, Twisted Root, Jakes, and Chips, why would anyone choose some fast food joint?
All we need after this is White Castle, and we’ll have burger nirvana. I know they tried Krystal here, and it failed, but comparing them to WC is like comparing flea market paintings to the Hudson River School.
in and out burgers are over-rated.
however, men like the name.
yes
Woo-hoo. Sadly the Observer said Garland was the first, most likely site. Garland? Please head to the west side of the Metromess!!!
Apparently, In-N-Out Burgers has realized the same thing that a lot of us ex-SoCal folks have. I made my move from L.A. to Dallas four years ago.
North Texas is where it’s at, baby.
Man this brings back memories. I remember when I was living in Las Vegas, I’d go eat at this In-N-Out Burger place down the block from my work at least once a week.
I have tried and tried to fall in love with In-and-Out, but I just don’t like their food. Every time I say, “Maybe this time I will like it.” With the exception of their sauce (kind of a 1000 Island dressing), I doubt I’ll ever go back.
Currently, we’re on a big Chick-fil-A kick.
Thank you for pointing to the mobile version of the article. The ads on the full version of the article are repulsive.
In-N-Out is awesome. Every time I have gone there it is rocking with customers, and rocking with young and bright people who work there. I’m talking at least 20 employees who are, to a man, working hard and happy. They get paid well, but they work hard, and they all speak English and all know how to speak to a customer. Not to mention, the Double-Double with extra grilled onions.... MMMMMMmmmmmMMMMM!
Braums and In and Out seem to be a lot alike in one respect. A desire to exercise quality control. Everytime I pass through Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas I make it a point to eat at Braums.
Sucks that they aren’t considering San Antonio - oh well, will have to settle for Whataburger, Culvers, Bobby J’s, and Chris Madrids.
Five Guys is the Best. Better than In-n-out...
OK, if we send you an In-N-Out, I want a Waffle House in return.
