Evidence of more record scrubbing in the link.

“UPDATE #2: Another from Doug Ross: Rub a dub dub, how many IDs does one profile need?”

“An anonymous tipster points out that the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of Illinois has gone through some amazing contortions maintaining a single database record for a retired attorney named Barack Obama.”

“Obama is only transparent in the sense that his past is invisible.”

* * * * * * * * * * * *

The above information brings up more questions than it resolves. So does the following.

Neal Sankey, formerly of Scotland Yard and now a Private Investigator in the U.S., has found that Barack Hussein Obama has more than thirty Social Security Numbers associated with not only his name but known past residences.

The most intriguing SSN is from 1979 when Obama first attended Occidental College in California.

Obama then had a SSN beginning with a 999 prefix. 999-XX_XXXX was a SSN issued to students who were foreign nationals receiving financial aid to attend college/university.

http://www.nytimes.com/1990/02/06/us/first-black-elected-to-head-harvard-s-law-review.html?pagewanted=1

This article from the New York Times, published in February 1990, gives a little insight as to Obama’s time as president of the Harvard Law Review. According to this article, Richard Nixon was also president of the Review. Prior to the 1980s, the president was selected from the Review members with the highest GPA. But that was changed and the members elected their president. Interesting read, because it doesn’t sound like they are exactly giving Obama a ringing endorsement as president.

The interesting thing is Obama graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School, which is awarded on the basis of grades, to the top 5% of the class.

So, either Obama has the outsized intellect and diligence to be in the Top 5% of Harvard Law School (when there is zilch evidence of this either before/after HLS) or the Magna was awardeded honorifically to be consistent with his being President of the HLR.

And, having known pathological liars, they all believe that what isn’t known, hurts no one. This sort of person will actually justify a lie as a beneficent act that saves others from knowing something hurtful.

They lie out of kindness.

Veeeeery interesting! I do believe you’ve named the smart-money option on why Zer0 won’t release his grades. (Although sheer arrogance is still a possibility, of course.)

Or his LSAT's (and SAT's). The release of LSAT's more consistent with a mid-level law school than with HLS Magna would be devastating. Obama's only life achievements are being named President of HLR, and making Magna at HLS. A 60'ish percentile LSAT would show these HLS honors to be contrived, and his resume to be fraudulent. If this is shown to be a fraud, then the question is what else? It calls the autobiographies into further question, etc. Pull on that string, and the whole thing collapses.

When I was a student at UCSD, the students used the title "professor" as a form of respect for the instructor...particularly those who didn't have a PhD, thus not entitled to be addressed as "Dr". Few students gave a rats ass about the title of "Professor" as an academic ranking within academic circles.

I think Obama believes he is entitled to be accorded the distinction of the academic title "Professor", but in reality is barely worthy of the use of "professor" as respectful form of address for the non-PhD instructors. Has anybody even seen his high school diploma?

I agree with you, he is in for a very big fall. I’m sure somewhere, someone has evidence of his wrongdoing that will open the eyes of even the most ardent Obama supporter. Although I do admit that I sometimes wish Michelle would catch him with his “body man” and tell the world what she knows. Horse’s mouth and all...

Possibly useful in 2012, but energy now better deployed towards winning control of Congress in Nov. 2010.

A tip for people capable of thinking in terms of scarce resources, priorities, calendars, etc.

Practicality.

I can corroborate that Obama's "teaching career" at Chicago was, to put it kindly, a sham.

That wouldn't be surprising at all. If Obama had been a really stand-out teacher, we'd have heard more about his UC days, so the general silence about him from faculty and students makes a point, but it takes more than hearsay to nail that impression down.

The other professors hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool.

Again, that wouldn't be a surprise.

But I'd take issue with "hated" which implies some intensity of feeling. If you've got a colleague who's basically a political appointee and doesn't show up for any meetings, you might despise or dismiss or ignore him or not be aware of his existence, but to hate him means taking more notice of him than he deserves.

Also, if you really hated him, you might be tempted to go public if he were running for the highest office in the government. More likely, Obama was somebody who really didn't count intellectually and who the other professors didn't pay much attention to.
