Another new twist in birth certificate story: Hawaii "paper copy was destroyed in a fire"

The Hawaii Department of Health claims to have an original copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate, right?

In fact, it is this established "fact" that has persuaded so many people there is nothing to the question of eligibility.

After all, an official in Hawaii has made a public pronouncement that she has inspected the document and declared on her own authority that Obama is a "natural born American" and thus eligible to serve as president.

For many Americans, that settles the question.

However, now a new version of the story is emerging.

The United Kingdom's Sky News reported Saturday: "Authorities in Hawaii have provided an electronic record of Obama's birth because the paper copy was destroyed in a fire which wiped out much of the state's archives."

Which is it?

Does Hawaii actually have an original long-form, paper birth certificate for Obama, or was it destroyed in a fire?

It seems the story is ever-changing.

And that's why it's time for Obama to come clean.

There is little question the heavily Democratic state of Hawaii has no interest in providing any information that would disqualify the first president claiming to be from that state.

If indeed the state has a copy of the original birth certificate, as Director of Health Dr. Chiyome Fukino claims, it should be no problem for Obama to give her permission to release it publicly – and, once and for all, settle the controversy that has resulted in that state being inundated with inquiries from curious American citizens.

It was already fixed. Remember when she was so shocked that all her supporters suddenly shunned her? It took a couple weeks but then she went meekly away. They had the goods on her and she was scared into submission with the promise of an office. Don't kid yourself. She has plenty of skeletons that would bring her little world crashing down. She'd rather protect herself than push this eligibility.

You honestly think I could use that in court??? This Hawaii announcement doesn’t even have his name. It would be an announcement for Billy Bubba Obama for all anyone knows and where does it state that Billy Bubba or Sam or Joe or who ever this un-named child was born? It doesn’t. So no, I won't address your fantasy that a private eye named Phillip Spade, or Sam Marlowe, or this guy

somehow wrote a brief that changed the fact that Arthur's dad was a Brit, everybody knew it, and he still got to be President.

But please, post more about your theory that the United State Courts can use the Honduran Constitution to remove the President of the United States from office. Did a private eye named Mike Tracey or Dick Hammer wrote a brief about it?

My point is why aren’t hundreds or even thousands of Hawaiians ordering and showing their long form birth certificates to embarrass Obama in the media and to prove him wrong on the issue?
I have only seen a couple of ORIGINAL long forms from when the child was actually born. I have seen none posted on the web that were ordered from the state since 2001. Have you?

Both Hawaii newspapers have confirmed that they did not take birth announcements from relatives or friends, they got them directly from the Hawaii Bureau of Health Statistics.
For example, if you look at the Obama announcement in the “Honolulu Advertiser” for Sunday, August 13, 1961, it is under the heading “Health Bureau Statistics.”

Would you trust any document released directly by Obama? Would you trust any document released at this late date by the state of Hawaii? You can bet that after confirming Obama as a “natural born American citizen” no document they ever release will say differently.

There is no additional information on a long form birth certificate that is constitutionally required that isn’t on a short form. The Constitution in Article 2, Section 1 requires birth in the US, age 35 and 14 years residence in the US. The first two are on the COLB.
The Constitution does not ask for Doctor’s name, birth weight, baby’s footprint or the name of hospital or midwife.

No names, just gender and parents’ name and address on those announcements. Many newborns aren’t named yet.

Anybody could get a Hawaiian COLB. Proof of that has been posted ad nauseum. With links. That would generate an announcement. It does NOT mean he was born in Hawaii.

Yes. Was she born in the US to two US citizens?

The taxi doesn't have anything to do with the Constitution and you know it.
