The real reason Palin quit as Alaska Governor?
You're talking about the most maligned politician arguably in American history. I think Sarah can handle the primaries and general election should she chooses to run.
Oh, are you looking for someone with a similar lack of experience? Mayor of a one stoplight town and half a term as Governor (which she quit) is not Presidential material.
Name one Republican that can beat her in the primaries?
I hope so. Because if you think she's been maligned to date then you haven't seen anything yet.
Vanitized -—— you may use it.
Yep, America wants a Jr HS cheerleader in the WH.
Her support is in the millions, it's not just "palinites" here on FR. Also other elected Republicans who don't share your nonsense.
There are plenty who aren't in that group who do realize that she is unelectable as POTUS for that reason.
Sure, there were plenty who doubted she can win the Governorship after "quitting" her Oil and Gas Commission job too.
Anybody who doesn't realize that she handed any opposition a golden sledge hammer the day she quit and that they will use it to beat her down in the eyes of the American voter is either hopelessly naive or willfully blind.
Her supporters know why she quit and don't give a feces about this ridiculous left-wing meme that you're sadly using as fact. The independents are the ones she will need to convince and once they get the facts they won't care why she stepped down either.
All your doing is repeating a talking point that would make Axelrod proud.
Sarah had everything thrown at her - what more can they do to her? Attack her family again?
Since she had just announced that she was not going to seek re-election she would be nothing but a lame-duck (for almost two years) and lame ducks do nothing but waste the taxpayers money.
I laughed when she said that. By her definition any term-limited politician is nothing but a lame duck on the first day of his final term. He might as well quit. I bet she would.
‘LOL. Nobody agrees with you bub’
This bub does. Don’t use ‘nobody’, it cheapens your argument. And like my dad always told me, ‘don’t quit the job’.
This idea that she accomplished everything is as stupid and shallow an argument that can stated. Hell, at least say she wanted to get away from the law suits and make some money. She wil be ground into dust for quitting.
No just someone who believes in the Constitution, has common sense, and knows the price of a gallon of milk.
In ways she can't imagine through surrogates that she won't see coming. They've found her Achilles heel.
Hey, good job, I’m not felling real well, so I’m not going to post any more,
I feel better just reading the come backs from real people like you!
and the same tired old anti-Palin posts helps put me to sleep.

Based on what data?
The next POTUS will need 70 million American votes. The majority of those would have to be from main-stream GOP and the independents (most of whom voted for obama). No way Palin would ever get anywhere near that number.
btw...have you ever posted an argument that was substantive instead of riddled with name-calling? I don't think so.
She did it for the money and to spend more time campaigning for president... DUH!.
I agree with you,,,, lost her chance when she quit. Alot of other conservative friends of mine agree as well..
You just described my 85 year old mother (who, btw, is no Palin fan at all - thinks she’s a lightweight).
Sen. Evan Bayh quit too. But, that won’t prevent him from running for president. I am sure liberals will forget that fact.
Yet some home Sarah Palin quitting as Alaska governor disqualifies her from running.
Can you help on this. I live in Alaska and I can't find the pipeline or anything remotely leading to the pipeline.
No it didn't.
When I said "nobody," I meant it. The only people who believe the meme are of course the left and a handful of FReepers. You guys are truly in the statistical minority.
And like my dad always told me, dont quit the job.
Would your old man have been proud if you stayed and ended up millions of dollars in debt with a tattered reputation as an ineffective Governor?
This idea that she accomplished everything is as stupid and shallow an argument that can stated.
It's true. She accomplished everything she set out to do and stepped down for her capable successor to finish out her term. She didn't want herself to be in the cross-hairs of the political left and her state to suffer for it.
Hell, at least say she wanted to get away from the law suits and make some money. She wil be ground into dust for quitting.
So it's OK to be ground in the dust for "quitting" but not for staying? If she would have stayed, you guys would be saying she didn't get anything done and she only served one term anyway.
